For use with your Intuos4, Intuos5, and Cintiq tablets, the Classic Pen from Wacom is battery-free, cordless, and has a slim, classic design that does not utilize a rubberized grip.
A number of different features make this pen well-suited to drawing, erasing, and mouse operations. Two customizable buttons allow you to set right-click, left-click, double-click, as well as drag-and-drop functions to your liking. In addition, the pen is both tilt and pressure sensitive, so that you can capture very light or heavy pen strokes, as if naturally writing or drawing. You have the option to adjust these sensitivities as well. At the pen’s lightest pressure sensitivity, it responds to as little as one gram of pressure and can register up to 2048 different levels of pressure.
Using the pen in a supported paint or photo program, these sensitivities come in handy for adjusting line weight, brush size, image opacity, or exposure. As a nice, added touch, an eraser crowns the top of the pen, so that you can digitally erase your work as you go along. In terms of accessories, included are two standard nibs, one stroke nib, one felt nib, and one flex nib. Also included is a pen stand that can hold the pen, some spare nibs, and the extractor (not included).

This was a replacement for my Intuos4 tablet. I was very pleased with the connectivity, works right out of the box, no configuration required at all. This stylus design is a much better design over the original stylus, it’s lighter weight and slimmer design makes it easier and more comfortable to hold over the entire day.

Great upgrade from the standard Wacom stylus pen. It’s lighter and feels exactly like an actual pen you would draw with traditionally (the standard pen feels like a large marker to me). Totally worth investing in one of these Classic Pens, especially for digital painting/drawing.

Replaced an old pen that had become sticky. My only complaint is that the base does not allow for the storage of extra nibs. (unless I missed the part of how to open the holder?)

The pen works as intended. It is comfortable and offers great functionality with the feel of a real pen in your hand. It you have large hands this pen may not be for you. The pro or grip pen may be better suited for you, however if you have average sized hands and dont work for extremely long periods the classic pen is perfect.

this pen has a more natural feel to it as compared to the soft grip pen.
