The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I’m a digital artist and have been using one for years. Got the insurance after I spilled a cup of coffee and it died. Good investment.

Much improved over my older Intuos 3. Not only does it respond better, but having the buttons on one side is a big help to minimize reaching for keyboard shortcuts.

Great aspects include the many programmable features and bigger control panel. My old WACOM was over 10 years old so this is a big step up. Not working so well is the wireless mode. I finally gave up.

My 2nd one, 1 for studio, 1 for travel. Great size for either. One tip is to use this instead of your mouse for a least a week, then it is 2nd nature.

I had a problem installing drivers on the computer that I bought the Wacom tablet for. Spoke with the manufacturer for over an hour trying to resolve problem. I was told that I needed to reformat my computer. This was not going to happen and had to return tablet. B & H Photo was great to work with, though. Happy with that part of an otherwise disappointing experience. If it wasn’t for my driver issue I think the product would be a very good one. Most people won’t have this problem.

I got the small and it’s perfect. This replaces my Intuos Pro 4 medium, which wasn’t wireless. So this is my first wireless Wacom and it’s great to be able to sit back in my chair and edit with the tablet on my lap. And it’s easy to take the tablet and switch from my desktop to my laptop. The small size tablet is super convenient for mouse mode mapping of the pen. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

The best product for retouching and I highly recommend it.

I’ve been a fan of Wacom tablets for as long as I can remember; in fact, when I’m forced to work without one, it feels just wrong. While at PhotoExpo this year, I saw the Intuos Pro and decided to upgrade from my Intuos 4 — primarily because, I was told, the wireless functionality had been deemed ready for prime time. Well, I would beg to differ — which is really my only beef with the great product. I wanted wireless to help declutter by work area — BUT, if you use only a tablet/pen as I do, and not a mouse — you run into a big problem when you restart your computer, because it doesn’t work. (From the manual: When starting up your computer, wait until your operating system has finished start-up, and turn on the wireless module (if not already on) to begin working wirelessly.) So you need a mouse to put in your startup screen password — which defeats the purpose. Other issue: the battery barely makes it a day on a charge — which means you have to constantly plug it back in to recharge. To be fair, had I been aware of this I might not have upgraded my tablet, though the smaller form factor and integration of custom express keys are sweet. So the executive summary: working with a Wacom tablet is awesome, particularly on photographs (or other creative work); the wireless functionality is a nice to have, but to buy it specifically for that.

Work great with the M1 chip, and free Photoshop for a year is the perfect bonus for tablet users. Also the medium size is perfect, a little bigger than I imagined … but easier to handle than my old large tablet.

Used to adjust photos with Adobe Lightroom 5.

Maybe it will just take time to get used to it, but using the pen with it is a bit touchy sometimes and then other times not doing anything when you think you’re pressing properly. Also, there is no way to middle click when using it as a touchpad. This is a basic function that any Windows laptop touchpad can do.

Great table for editing photography! small, lightweight and bluetooth enabled = great for on the go.

Software can’t remember settings for some programs and overrides others with the default settings. Photoshop brushes do not respond to pressure settings as described in videos. Pen doesn’t work properly with Outlook. End up using the mouse.

once you take this out of the box be sure to put your old mouse away. it will take 1 day to get used to it and then you will never go back

Nice upgrade from the Bamboo. Like that I can assign functions to keys so they’re application specific.

One word…AMAZING!…sums up this tablet. Being an old school mouser for 30-some years, and having never touched a tablet, I was hesitant to invest the money in something I had only read reviews about, but after a couple quick hours of getting to know my way around the tablet, I’ll never go back to a mouse. Plus I knew with B&H’s awesome return policy, if it didnt work for me, I could easily return it without a hassle. Set up was quick and easy right out of the box. Even though I use this at home primarily in Lightroom and Photoshop, I’ve found it to be easy and quicker to use than a mouse in all programs. It easily adapts to a dual monitor setup. That being said, I may purchase another one in the smaller size to use at work for typical office programs. Then my only concern will be keeping it on my desk and away from my fellow co-workers. With the touch keys programmable for each program you are working in and all the menu options along with the pressure sensitivity of the pen, I never see myself outgrowing this tablet. Once again, thanks B&H….you guys ROCK!

the intuos is an incredible thing, the pressure sensitive pad, the touch wheel, multiple buttons for customizable actions make working in photoshop a breeze. I don’t know why I’ve waited this long to own one but this digital pen tablet for me replaces paper and represents the way forward 🙂

It’s been awhile since I’ve used a Wacom. I’m a professional TV editor and started editing with a Wacom but migrated away. I wanted to give my hands and wrist a break from the stress of using a mouse, even an ergonomic mouse is uncomfortable during a 10 hour shift. I’ve never felt comfortable on a trackball either so I sought out the latest Wacom. It’s great. I like all the new features that basically give you touchpad abilities similar to a Macbook Pro. Also per usual, all buttons are customizable. It even has a bluetooth wireless option if you’d like. Personally, I haven’t used the wireless but it’s nice that it’s offered. In the past, I thought the medium was the way to go but this small is a good size. Actually, similar to the old medium sized tablet. So far, the pain has subsided and I’m loving this version. Probably won’t leave the wacom again until they develop editing system where I can move things with my mind.Cheers.

Highly recommend for editing with Lightroom Classic
