The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I love the fact that it can be used wirelessly but only for a certain amount of time. I also wish the battery could last a couple more hours and that it could be charge independently. Other than that, this Wacom Tablet works great.

Got it for my 15 year old and find myself envious. It is even more powerful than I thought

The revisions to this tablet are fantastic! I love the feature of being able to change the brush size from the ring on the tablet. It is without question an invaluable tool to me as a professional photographer when it comes to editing images.

This thing is incredible, right away it has made Photoshop a thousand times easier! The pen and brush tools are no longer a tedious chore, in fact they are becoming my most favorite tools now. Installation was quick and trouble free on my mac mini; learning to use the pen is an over statement for the most part. Some thing will take some getting used to and customizing the function button and pen setting will likely change often as my workflow evolves with the use of the tablet, but that is not a problem with the easily customizable interface. This is the greatest addition to my post shoot tool chest!

I use it with Photoshop and Lightroom and will make my job better.

The pen and tablet combination makes editing photos in Photoshop and LR fun and the process easier. It takes some adjustment to transition from mouse use, but once you are used to it, the pen and the quick keys really help you get creative and fly through editing.

Was deciding between the iPad Pro + Pencil or this to update my current retouching process. Before, was still using a prior Intuos Pro. Spent some time at the Apple Store trying to figure out if its better to just direct the money towards a new iPad + Pencil or stick with my current Intuos set up. I ended up going with this because if you are seriously retouching a high volume of photos or drawing designs at a fixed set up with a monitor, this is the best tool to add. The iPad Pro + Pencil sounded good at the beginning but as I used it over and over it just seemed to suit a different work flow than what I needed, i.e., high volume retouching on my external BenQ. The material does make a huge difference in terms of how you experience the brushes/tools while retouching compared to the screen of an iPad. Overall, if you are a retoucher or graphic designer who does a high volume of work, I think this is the best tool for that. If you’re more mobile, I’d check the other options and see if the cons outweigh the benefits.

I had an older Wacom, medium size, I forget the model number, I’m not good at remembering those. Anyway, it finally quit working so I “upgraded” to this. In general, it works fine. Bluetooth is so laggy that it’s virtually useless for any real work. Be sure you upgrade drivers once you get it installed. Before I did that, it was preventing my computer from shutting down. HOWEVER, BEFORE the driver upgrade, the bluetooth was great, felt like a wired connection. Weird. Only other problem is that I’m not used to the new buttons. I used the older tablet for SO many years that the new layout is really slowing me down. I guess I’ll eventually get it.

It does what it is meant to do. 3 stars because they are not as durable as I would like. This has to be my 30th tablet or so. It is the only option so yeah.

I come from a drawing background so the use of this in my photo editing is second nature. This makes my photo editing exponentially easier and more precise. I should have got one a long time ago. There was a learning curve to use this since I just used the mouse for a while. After a few tutorials and some practice, which only took about three days, I was off to the races and editing with it. This is a must for anyone using photoshop or lightroom. I like how this can be used as a large track pad too. It has all the same controls as using the track pad on my Mac and the hot buttons save me time without having to punch in regular commands on the keyboard. I’m glad I bought this and you will be too.

I used to use the medium but based on the wear pattern I decided that I wanted a smaller device footprint. Perfect size to throw in the laptop bag. The rechargeable battery is useful. The wireless feature is nice but can be slightly laggy at times.

It’s my first Wacom tablet and so far I love it! The size surprised me as well. In the good way of course. I don’t know much about it right now, but I’m learning.

I got the small Intuos Pro for my husband as a Xmas present. I have the big one and that one is great but too big for him to travel. He is now able to take it with him all over the world while he teaches his Photography Workshops.

Adios mouse. I don’t know why I waited so long to get the Wacom Intuous Pro. I do photo retouching and having this tablet has made this task much easier. In particular, the ability to use the pressure sensitive pen has opened a new realm of possibilities.

I have had a Wacom graphic tablet in the past. It’s amazing how the product has evolved over the years! I get lost a little in terms of programming shortcuts, I have to adapt to this new Wacom generation, but the investment is clearly worth it! I was hesitant to order from you, your banner is not known in Quebec (Canada). We don’t have a B&H Photo/Video here. I was very surprised to see the versatility of your website & the integrated transcription in Canadian dollars. The speed of processing and shipping is exceptional! Thanks for this incredible service!!

I was skeptical on this product for editing photos in Photoshop, but after a few quick tutorials online, I cannot live without it! It makes editing so much more precise, and it’s much more fun. The tablet is very responsive and customizable and a great value. The small version is perfect for my desk size at home. It will now travel with me when I do any editing on the go! Must have for all photographers.

You can’t use Photoshop to it’s full potential without a tablet.
