The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

Perfect companion for Lightroom. I had no idea what I was missing until I tried it. Glad I selected the medium. I wouldn’t want any smaller or bigger. Took about a day to adjust my hand-eye coordination. Easy to customize for your workflow.

I tried another cheaper brand but the software just wasn’t good. I also tried the less expensive Wacom Intuos Creative ($200) but the experience just didn’t match what I was used to with the Intuos 4, so I returned it for the Intuos Pro. So far, so good. I didn’t have great luck using it via Bluetooth with my iMac, but your mileage may vary. Works fine plugged in via USB.

Plain and simple, I now understand why Wacom cost a lot more then the competition. Had a different brand for about a year and it was ok(ish) but not as smooth or precise.

Hello, I’m loving my Wacom Intuos Pro Pen & Touch Tablet Special Edition. I recently bought the stand and the screen protector for it which is adding to my delight. I’m a big fan of silver and black and have placed the silver/gray ring on my pen. The tablet and pen are working just fine–the only issue was the CD enclosed did not work, so I downloaded my drivers from your website. Am looking forward to creating some great art. Thank you so much!

There is so much potential with this pen tablet but it takes some time to perfect your skill using it. I especially like the preciseness with which I can adjust sliders in lightroom.

It was okay in general, but there are some features that do not work with Apple computers. I called Wacomb support to make sure it wasn’t something I did or did not do correctly, they confirmed the issue. I returned the tablet and I wish I could remember what is was that didn’t work…sorry.

The Best Pen & Tablet bar none. The standard by which others are judged. I bought the Small which was the perfect size for me. I have been dealing with B & H for 30 years and they have always shipped fast with the best customer service !

There is no substitute. With each new version Wacom improves upon their already brilliant piece of technology. There is absolutely no way you can edit photography without one. There are zealots who claim otherwise, but that’s only because they haven’t used one yet. The infinite amount of detail with which you can control your editing in no way can a mouse compare. With this version, they even include a wifi kit which is absolutely perfect in every way! The customization allowed on this tablet is superior and makes your workflow so much more efficient, if you’re not using one, you might as well be using an Etch-a-Sketch. Check out some of my tutorial videos on YouTube for a live example of how I use mine.

I really like this product. I use it for Photoshop and Lightroom and after an adjustment period I find it essential. It makes selections and use of the selections in PS and the adjustment brush in LR more precise and efficient. What I’m not so pleased about is the failure of the wireless kit twice. Both times the wireless stopped connecting. The first time I sent it in for service while under warranty. After about two weeks, I got it back and it was working. Six months later, same problem again. When I spoke to customer service and explained that I had been through this before (customer service couldn’t find my records until I found an email from one of their representatives and forwarded it to the rep I’m currently dealing with), I asked that they expedite service so I wouldn’t be without the tablet for another two weeks. My representative refused to give it any preference despite the same problem occurring twice in six months. This is a premium product with a premium price. The warranty service doesn’t match up.

Watching youtube videos of power Photoshop users I was always impressed by how fast some people could zoom in and out, change brush sizes and make complex masks and adjustments. Now I can do it too with my Wacom tablet. It works like a charm, especially like the shortcut features.

I got this and within a couple hours my photo editing times are much faster than the old mouse I’ve used all this time. As a wedding photographer, editing photos in Lightroom by just touching and dragging the sliders is a dream and when you consider the seconds saved over every photo in a wedding, it ads up to hours saved each job. This probably has paid itself off in the first week in time saved, in my opinion. I would highly recommend getting a texture sheet when you order it, though. The nibs wear to a point really fast, I started keeping a piece of printer paper nearby to wear the points off as the form as I didn’t want to replace nibs every night, but even then I’m seeing lots of scratching happening on the pad which is disappointing for something I’ve only had a week. It comes with texture samples for you to try and I preferred the texture that it comes with. Just wanted that disposable layer to protect the tablet itself.

I’m not sure my writing abilities will accurately represent how much I love this device. It’s become an instrumental part of my picture processing, and I can’t believe how long I’ve been processing pictures without it. I would recommend anyone that process photographs on a regular basis pick one of these devices up, and be prepared to be awed. The learning curve is a little bit steep, but watch a few videos, be persistent, and what you’ll come out with on the other end will be a complete paradigm shift for how you work with your photos. It enables a level of control that you’ve never had before, and for me, actually brought-out a level of creativity I was never able to discover using a mouse or trackball. One question I had about this device was whether or not to go with a medium or large, and at least for photo editing purposes, I would definitely go with a medium. I’ve actually cut the usable space on the tablet down by about a third, so there’s plenty of real estate.

Went to wacom website to register. Cannot create new user, tried 5 days, says “form not filled” although it is… Sent an email about it, no anwser ofcourse…. It says this is multitouch tablet, i never got touch to work AT ALL on 3 different PCs and windows 7 and 10 with several different drivers…. I could not even get the buttons on pen to act like double click… there is no manual, no instructions, nothing actuall giving info on the product and how to use it, you have 20 different wacom products, and they all apparently are completely the same as they never mention any differences… they say this has 8000 levels of pressure… more like 10… or mine was broken… all in all, complete waste of time, returned the item…

I’ve had the Intuos 3 for years and it was time for upgrade. Like the controls and wheel on one side. Gives a lot flexibility in customizing the tablet. Love the touch functionality of the tablet, which allowed me to get rid of the mouse when not retouching. Not entirely sure I like the rougher (paper emulating) surface texture. I can see where some painters may prefer that, but for retouching and other work it’s more bothersome then beneficial, which there was a way to choose surface.
