The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

As I said the PTH451 is everything I needed and was looking for. I had a small dum issue with the pen tool. I called Wacom, they answered what I needed. If your looking for a tool for photo retouching this is it.

I have wanted one of these for years, and am not disappointed. The initial set-up was a little vague as the software wouldn’t auto start and should have, but figured it out pretty quick. One issue is that when using Lightroom it is not easy to fine-tune the toggle buttons with the pen. Maybe it will get easier with practice. But that is more a Lightroom issue than the tablet.

Used in graphic design (Illustrator and Photoshop). Easy to set up and configure. Nice flow and pen pressure works excellent.

LOVE this tablet, just need a smaller one. I thought I’d like the extra working space, but it is too heavy and bulky to travel with, so I’m sending mine back for the smaller version.

The most useful accessories that anyone who uses it for creative work will ever purchase. Please don’t use it when you eat your lunch, its prone to get everything on it as proof of what you are eating….. If you upgrade to the latest Mac OS make sure you reinstall the driver after upgrading.

I have been using and Intuous 3 for a long time, which will not be supported with 64 bit Mac. I run two 24 monitors and this size is a good fit for covering both screens. Great feel. Would like to be able to select one of the 4 options on the ring instead of having to cycle through them one at a time. Perhaps there is a way to do that, but I haven’t found it yet. Really a great tool for photo editing

I use to have the medium size Intuos tablet for a two monitor set up. The smaller size seems more responsive due to the smaller wrist and hand movements I now use. I also love the built in track pad. I no longer have to search for my mouse. The end result is more desk top real estate saved and faster work flow.

I hung on to my Intuous III for a long time and upgraded to the Large Pro model only because the old one would not work with Catalina. The tablet is very responsive and , for the most part, well designed. It can be configured for either left or right-handed users. I did not think that I would like the fact that the active area does not occupy the entire tablet top, but I do. It gives you the opportunity to get a running-start with the pen and means that you won’t bump up against the frame when you reach the limits of your screen. I could live without the Bluetooth capability and suspect that I will never use it. Likewise, the buttons on the side are not helpful to me because I constantly touch them accidentally. I do like the circular dial-like touch surface that sits between the buttons as it is a fantastic way to control brush size and I use it often now. However I must always remember to set the ring control to another function (by tapping the center button) or it becomes too easy to touch it with the wrist while typing. If you brush against it with your wrist you will find a long row of [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ or in your text. Unlike the old tablet, this one has a touch surface that accepts gestures. It’s a pleasure to use it, but again, I have to disable it when in Photoshop or it will react to my fingers if they happen to touch the tablet surface. Luckily, there’s an on/off switch on the side. Speaking of the surface, it is way too rough. I tried the smoother surface sample and it’s too rough too. So……I cut out a piece of the cellophane that the tablet was packed with and taped it to the top. Now it is glassy-smooth the way I like it. I do wish that they offered a very smooth option, but that would spare the pen nibs. All-in-all it’s a very good tool and I hope that it lasts for 14 years like my previous one.

Having been a loyal Wacom user for years I was excited for the new Intuos Pro. The tablet comes with a stylus and I purchased a second one. The stylus, unlike to old ones, which were GREAT, the new are now coated in a rubbery material which I finally realized was the reason for a terrible contact allergy. I have no idea how I can continue to use this tablet and hope Wacom will have a solution. So disappointed.

Have the medium size for home. After using for about 6 months, really wanted to get this smaller sized version for traveling. If I had to do it over, I would have purchased this size for home use as the tablet size is ideal.

Use for photoshop editing of photographs, primarily B&W fine art photos. When I edit I mostly use lumonosity masks and do a lot of dodging and burning. The exactness of this over a mouse is amazing. The mouse is a shotgun and this is a sniper rifle.

I buy all my gear from B&H. Their customer service is top notch, the products are competitively priced and the shipping times are fast (even now). Super impressed with this company and they always have what I need – so added bonus! Highly recommend.

For a couple years now I have been using the dreadful mouse for all my post processing needs in PS CS6. Have you ever tried using the quick select tool, lasso and even your brush with less than adequate results while using a mouse? Then you have to check out a tablet. With personalized settings that allow you to set up your tablet for preferred settings, according to what you use and need most. While there is a bit of a learning curve as with anything, good things take time. I highly recommend this product, and do not see myself going back to using a mouse…. ever!!!

feels and looks great but the paper feature leaves a little to be desired. specifically the new pen, it’s too thin and to get a thicker pen is a whole new expense. They need different pen thickness options.

I used a Wacom Pen & Touch tablet for about 7 years. It was a wonderful and useful product. The new products that have evolved over time are even better and the Pro series is now more affordable. The Intuos Pro (Small) is actually large enough for all my needs. I don’t use large sweeping gestures so a larger tablet would be far less efficient. I considered a Medium tablet, but I’m glad I didn’t opt for it. There was no place in my area to try one out, so we had to purchase sight unseen. We got two of them. Every time I search for tablets, I find that Wacom still holds the top spot. I’ve only had it for a week or so and I haven’t explored all it can do. That will take awhile.

I bought this primarily for photo editing. I also use it some for graphic design and sketching. Does everything I need it to do and more. Excellent product!

After using a mouse for years, switching to a tablet was an improvement that I got used to almost immediately. I have now unplugged my mouse. I did notice a cheaper version with less features that might have worked well for me but no regrets, love this thing.
