The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I have used a mid-size Intuos Pro for a long time but I needed a smaller one to work at home. This tablet works as a charm.

I bought this for my animator husband as a gift for Christmas, since his old one is starting to wear. (Still works great, he’s just had it forever.) He loves it, it was super easy for him to set up/ calibrate etc. and the size (medium) is perfect for his work space. As far as the shopping experience through B&H — you can’t beat it! I almost ordered this same product from @but B&H had a clear listing of the specs, customer reviews and product features I was looking for without having to hunt all over a webpage. We will absolutely be buying more from B&H in the future.

Love this tablet. A completely different way to edit photos for me. Can’t wait until this becomes second nature in my own editing process.

After my Intuos 3 died after ten years of service, I ended up in the market for a new illustration tablet. This seemed to fit the bill, and I was not disappointed! Slimmer, lighter, very easy to set up…I can not recommend it enough.

The Wacom Pro has been an invaluable asset for my imagery. I use it for my photography, studies and sketches. It has really widened the potential and possibilities of my imagination. The learning curve has not been very steep. I took advantage of shipping time to watch the ‘How to’ videos and read the manual so was familiar with it before its arrival. It did slide off my lap onto the tile floor. No damage to tablet or floor. Now I use a gripper fabric to prevent future falls. The Wacom Pro is a great addition to my artist toolkit.

I have been a Lightroom user for a couple of years and didn’t see the need of a tablet but I recently started a class in Photoshop at my local JC and thought the trackpad I was using for Lightroom (and everything else) would suffice. After watching several YouTube instructional videos, I came to the realization that a tablet would make my experience much more enjoyable and productive. I received the Intuos Pro Medium last Tuesday and, per guidance from several videos, put my trackpad away and started using the tablet for everything. While I’m not yet perfectly proficient at hitting the target with the pen on the first attempt, it gets easier every day. Also, this tablet includes the ability to use almost all of the same gestures I used with my trackpad so I don’t have to use the pen exclusively, which is a real plus when working in Word or other non-graphic applications. Overall, I am very pleased with the tablet and look forward to doing tasks in Photoshop that would be near impossible without it. Additionally, I’ve found the recommendations from the videos to be absolutely correct in that for probably 90% of users, the Medium is the perfect size compromise for usable surface area vs. desk real estate.

I really wish Wacom would install an internal wireless system in these. This is my 2nd one though, so it doesn’t bother me too much, I guess. 🙂 Program Accessibility is increased and 3D products are now available in ways like never before.

You really don’t understand how powerful and meaningful this tablet is until you own one. The Wacom tablet(small) has transformed and improved my Lightroom experience. 5 stars!

The mouse! The tablet is great but I miss the mouse SO MUCH! I hear all their reasons for not including it anymore but my opinion is that if you want to disable touch, you should be able to opt for the mouse. MOST things work well with a pen but still, some things are just better with a mouse. Now, I am required to buy one that they don’t even sell, and truth is, there’s not enough workspace on my desk for a separate pad anyway. Very disappointed with their decision to eliminate it. It’s worked well for years, and now…they can’t figure out how to integrate the two.

I already owned an older larger Intous 3 that I have just about worn out. My only regret with that one was that it was too large for photo editing. This imho is the right size for photo editing if you shoot weddings and are doing retouching. It just takes up less real estate. The tabs/buttons are far more useful than my old Intuos 3, I use them often now. My only complaint is with the pen. I don’t know if it is the nibs, or the surface of the Pro, or both, but their is too much drag/friction on the nib. I prefer a smooth motion on the surface, but on this version I can feel the roughness of the nib. Perhaps I need to buy accessory nibs, but this is a minor quible.

I have given 5 stars based on my experience with my old Intuos tablet that lasted about 15 years. This one is defective, and Wacom is replacing it. When I receive, set up and start using the replacement, I will give an update.

This is a whole new learning curve, but there are so many videos to walk you through the process. Glad I didn’t get the large one. The medium is going to work well with photography. For the few things I’ve done so far this is a wonderful tool and will only get better with use over time. It does take about three days to get used to the idea that this is not a mouse.

The Wacom tblet is fantastic for professional photo editing. I use it while my laptop is attached to my external monitor. It iw wo intuitive moving from a mouse to the tablet, especially for precision editing. The editing process is much more fluid for me now. I’m still a bit slow navigating around my computer otherwise, but getting easier and faster all the time. The medium size is perfect for me–plenty of space to move around. I had to get used to the fact that the tablet’s active space is essentially mapped to my computer screen (unlike a mouse, which stays in the same place even if you pick up the mouse and put it down somewhere else), but that is becoming more intuitive as well. Great product!

This is a must have if you’re a serious retoucher. The pen and tablet works great especially with the ample customizable controls. Makes retouching much easier and faster. The size of the tablet is great for any small desk top and for traveling.

It’s very useful, but a slight learning curve. Once you have it though it works like a charm.

It seems to work just as specified from the limited usage I’ve put it through so far. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the lack of a good informative user manual with it. That would be very useful. A real one.. not some pdf.

With few glitches I had the tablet up & running, both wired & with Bluetooth on desktop and laptop. After a bit of adjusting the pen feels natural and is excellent for Photoshop, even for using sliders. My prior wrist issues using a mouse for long periods have disappeared. The quality of the Wacom is also excellent and worth the price.
