The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

Love this tablet, had to replace my 12-year-old one finally, and the newer version is just great.

Used mainly with Painter and Photoshop. I like the medium size compared to my larger Intuos 2. Intuos Pro tablet performance seems better than Intuos 2 only in higher resolution. All controls on side panel are unnecessary for me but I can turn them off. When on, they seem somewhat hard to control and generally bewildering to use (I assume until you eventually become familiar with them) and IMO unnecessary. Can’t quite take place of my Apple touchpad so I normally set that on top of tablet for daily use. Would really prefer a bare tablet without all the on-screen wizardry and added size. I do like the Special Addition for it’s silver and much easier to keep clean surfaces. The whole tablet should be that finish as the black surfaces seem to attract dirt and dust. I added a screen protector, which is a huge improvement, and which was standard on Intuos 2. Glad I upgraded (I think) but mainly because of smaller size which results in more useable desktop space. Other than higher resolution, I see no significant benefit over Intuos 2 except for all the advancements in buttons, wheels and on-screen controls.

Bought this after a visit and advice ok Kim Murphy Photography ( she is fantastic, you should check out her website.). Took a bit of time to get up to speed on it, now I could not be happier. Wacom appears to be a first class company.

To say this is different from the mouse I have used for a very long time this feels odd. However, as I learn to use it I can feel that once I conquer it that it will be worth the struggle. Some say to just lock up your mouse and use the tablet. I may get there but for now, I like the combination of keyboard, mouse, and Wacom. Different tools for different jobs. We will see!!!

It takes a little getting used to. There are some great YouTube videos on this item for getting started. The advertisement here is that you can get rid of your mouse and use this instead. I’m not ready to do that yet. I purchased it as a tool for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I have a hard time moving the mouse with enough resolution and accuracy as I’d like. So, I’m getting going on this and I’ll be sure to update you on my progress with this tool.

When asked how she likes her Wacom Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet after several months of use, she said, It’s awesome. She uses it with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Blender. It works well with all of them.

Very sleek design and the price is even cheaper than the normal medium version! Functionality is very good with a lots of custom functions. The buttons on the left can be assigned to various key strokes or combos. The pen is pressure sensitive and has two buttons that are customizable. The wireless function is very nice and it comes with a wireless receiver and sender and the battery. SO you can use it without any wires plugged into your computer that might make your workplace a mess. Overall very good professional product with every aspect ahead of the game.

Used a large size of this at work, but it felt a little too big. So for home I got a medium and it’s perfect. Build quality is great and the pen feels awesome in hand. I sometimes wish they still had the little led lights next to the buttons on the side that show what shortcuts you’ve got assigned to which buttons. But I’m sure after some time, I’ll get used to which buttons are where.Apparently it comes with a wireless setup thing, but I prefer going wired. So know that this tablet can do both, and it also comes with the usb to connect.Awesome product.

Don’t get me wrong it is still pretty awesome. I have been using Wacom tablets for well over 10 years now and I love their products. For all my prior tablets that button in the middle of the touch ring was programmable it seems in this unit that button only turns on the bluetooth or shows your the one touch strip function. My older tablet has 4 touch strip functions you can toggle through. What I do like about this tablet is that I can add multiple pens with different settings not a super huge feature to celebrate about but still nice non the less.

I’m happy to finally be working on an intuos pro tablet. Glad I waited because the paper edition is just perfect for my workflow. I can complete sketches out in the field or in my local coffee shop and also have the digital layers ready when I get home. No more scanning! The intuos itself lives up to all the reviews.

I’ve been using the Intuos Pro Tablet for two weeks now and my editing options and control in Photoshop and Lightroom have improved tremendously. The first three days I had trouble getting use to it, but turning point in the learning curve was fast and after I got the swing of using the pen I was off! Selection with the pen is made easy as well as retouching colors with the pen pressure sensitivity. I strongly recommend this product to photographers that need to edit their photos in Photoshop and Lightroom. You will save valuable time in your workflow.

I received my Intuos Pro pen-tablet, and was enjoying familiarizing myself with its application – on the forth day the battery that enables the wireless system ran out. I reached our to B&H, from where I purchased the item – but two weeks later, no response from them. So reviewing an item, which in theory could be great help for photographers, would be difficult as I wait to hear back from B&H regarding the replacement battery.

I’ve been buying Wacom products for years. This latest Pro/Touch model tablet is also excellent. B&H is a favored distributor. The phone call team is super helpful, courteous and goes the second mile. Always call B&H!

I use this for editing my photography. Once you get used to it you may never use a mouse again

I bought this to help with wrist pain from long hours editing using a traditional mouse. The learning curve was not bad, and I use it easily on a two monitor setup. I think I work slightly faster now, and my wrist pain is improving. There are still some things I want a mouse for, and so I keep a bluetooth mouse on the desk as well, but I find I can do everything else just as well or better with the pen.

Purchase this item for a college photoshop course. I can’t believe how much it’s changed my photo editing and also video editing ability. Why did I wait so long to get this product. I really like the Bluetooth connection especially at home when I can sit in comfort and edit photos. I highly recommend this product.
