The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I Have been editing with a rock , compared to using this tablet! Much more natural using the pen. There is totally s learning curve and I tried using it exclusively for two weeks . Really love the touch capabilities. Very similar to my trackpad.

Great for some of the applications on Photoshop but sometimes I have to go back to the mouse.

Had no trouble setting it up for USB operation. It does make selecting and brushing in Photo Shop easier. After 2 weeks, Im not sure if it is easier on my hand and wrist than a mouse so Ill keep on using it at least for a while. I am slowly getting better with it.

I really like the Intuos Pro medium tablet, and I don’t know how I used to work in Photoshop and Illustrator without it.

What a great product! I’m so happy to have finally purchased this tablet. It’s making my editing accurate and fast! This is a sound investment if you have a lot of editing to do.

I am giving it a 4 star review, as it was extremely difficult to set up, at least for me. and I had an older tablet when I purchased this one. After talking and corresponding to several people at Wacom, I finally got the tablet set up with few problems. If you do not use the touch part, turn it off, as that was causing most of my problems. The touch button is next to the on button by the circle. It’s a learning curve to get used to using the pen only, but I am getting there. I finally got brave enough to try the paper part of the tablet, and I must say, it is pretty cool technology. One you have the tablet set up right, it is a great product. There should be better instructions included with the tablet for the people who are not technically inclined, as it should have been easier to set up. I received the product from B&H in perfect shape, even the box wasn’t dented. I would recommend B&H to anyone. The delivery was also fast.

This small version is slightly smaller than my previous Intuos 3, but I am glad to say it is not a problem as I mainly use it in Photoshop. I love that it is wireless and don’t have to cord-wrangle anymore!

What can I say? The Wacom tablets are the industry standard for excellence with this type of pointing device. While, for me, there is a steep learning curve to switch from my mouse to a tablet, the tablet is much more precise once you get used to using it.

Wacom is the leader in this category for a reason…their products work! You will save time once you learn how to use the pen/touch tablet with your favorite photo editing program. I use Lightroom & Photoshop with my new tablet and just love it. It has a full row of programmable buttons and can be flipped for left hand of right hand use. Plus, it has a Bluetooth dongle and rechargeable battery that allows you to disconnect it from the USB and carry it as a portable unit. Amazing feature! If you have been considering getting one, just go ahead and do it.

I use this at work and have bought two cheaper version for home (an off brand and a wacom bamboo) and never use them because they are difficult for anything but drawing. The intuos makes you never want to touch a mouse again. These have come down enough in price that it doesn’t make sense to get anything else if you design at all.

Wacom has always been a great tablet. I have used Wacom for many years. It took me 2 days to install this tablet–with a lot of correspondence with Wacom’s Technical Support. Once installed, I still had issues using the pen in Photoshop…..More time with Tech Support. Once I got it up and running…Fantastic! The issues I had were due to Windows 10 Security Updates. Wacom was aware of these glitches, yet did not put the fixes in their installation program…I had to go the long, tedious route to install and fix bugs—So, the only criticism I have is that Wacom could (should) have foreseen the problem With Windows 10 and published these known issues and their fixes in their documentation, or better yet have included programming in their installation software to fix these issues automatically. Otherwise…a great product.

Overall a very good tablet. The size is perfect and installation is easy once you connect to computer. I find the user guide provided with product is insufficient. You need to some time to figure it out how to start.

If you are using a MAC, do not buy a Wacom tablet. There are issue with the drivers not functioning properly and they will have you going through senseless exercises to fix but it’s all for nothing..DO NOT BY WACOM..

It takes a little while to get used to this way of editing pictures, but a much better feel and more detail in your work.

My old Wacom table finally gave up on me after 7 years. I had to buy this during peak season so I am still getting used to all the features (haven’t had time to do the tutorials). I love that it is wireless, saves ports for other stuff and doesn’t get tangled with my headphones when I am listening to podcasts or music while I edit. Has a ton of pen tips, excited to try them all out, they are conveniently stored in the stylus holder. I would like it if I could get a left handed version (all the buttons are on the left, makes me have to reach across).

This is the second Intuos tablet that I have owned. The first one which I purchased several years ago is still working great and it was handed over to my son. What I like about this tablet is that it is smaller, lighter and wireless. It is very responsive and works well. Just make sure you have the latest drivers and software installed if you’re using the latest MAC OS.

If you’re using photoshop, this tablet is a must buy. To be able to control pen pressure is a blessing. Retouching has gotten faster and overall editing has been a breeze. I’d recommend this to any graphic designer. or photographer.

This is my second Intuos. Mainly upgraded b/c I was having issues with my old (I believe it was 8 years old) intuos tablet. The Bluetooth is way better than the wireless connection I had in my old intous. Using a tablet makes fine tuning photos in photoshop much easier. In fact anytime I try to use a mouse now it just plain sucks lol I gave the tablet 4 stars b/c it seems to have some issues with Windows 10 (I’m assuming it’s just the OS and Wacom not playing well with each other). Perfect example of this is sometimes when dragging a scroll bar to go down a page, instead of dragging the bar down as it should, it wants me to drag up. There is no “predicting” when this will happen. So while editing a photo I may drag down one min to go through LR’s tools and then the very next time it wants me to drag up to go through the tools. Annoying. I have tried looking for a “fix” but haven’t found any.

I love the tablet, although there is a learning curve for me primarily because its my first tablet. Setup was straightforward, it worked out of the box just fine. I regret getting the large size, but i didnt know any better. Ive mapped a smaller area of the screen to the tablet so movements arent quite as large and sweeping. I think a medium would have been fine, and of course cheaper. I have no regrets though, am happy with the purchase.
