The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I purchased this tablet as an upgrade to my Wacom pen and touch bamboo which gave me years of satisfaction. However after 4 years of use, it started to stuck from time to time or become unresponsive. I decided to purchase the PTH451. It is such a smooth tablet. Its like upgrading from a Nissan Sedan to an Audi car. Its very confortable to use and the feel is so good. The pen itself feels so solid and the grip is very nice. It works very well and will be offering me many years of satisfactory service Im sure.

Had a smaller wacom for years, love the larger tablet and the bundle was an amazing bonus! Effortless to install and setup preferences!

I got the medium and it’s the perfect size. Easy to set up and it makes my job so much easier!

It’s perfect. At first I was undecided between the small and the medium tablet. I read many reviews online, but then still opted for the small. It fits perfectly on my desk and it’s very easy to use with my 24 monitor. I also love that I can customize the keys on the tablet.

Having all kinds of difficulty getting the necessary accuracy from pointing with the pen on the tablet in Bluetooth Wacom support suggestions included deleting every vestige of Wacom drivers & software and reinstalling, repeating this and starting with a new computer user account for my 2013 MacBook Pro, resetting the table to factory settings, and blaming the problem on non compatibility with Apple Bluetooth standards from 2013.. Frankly I don’t have time for this so I started using my old USB 2 Wacom tablet which still works fine even with the new driver. In short: don’t buy Wacom latest anything, buy something on the point of being obsolete, for compatibility, or find an alternative that you know works from a different manufacturer.

I did quite a bit of research before I purchased this tablet and I was not disappointed by its performance at all, even though my expectations were quite high. The installation on an iMac was easy and flawless. Right away, I was up an running. There are still a few Photoshop functions that I like to do on my trackpad and you can switch between the two seamlessly. The medium size tablet was the best choice for my 27 inch iMac for me and it doesn’t take up more desktop space than I have. However, I would choose the smaller one for the smaller MacBooks. I am thinking of purchasing the smaller one for on the road with my MacBook. The transition to a tablet was not as hard as I thought it would be, but I did take a course from Creative Live that helped out the transition. As I said, I can still use my Trackpad when I want to and can switch easily between the two on my desktop – although no one recommends that. It works for me. A quality product. I use my this tablet primarily for Photoshop and it has increased my productivity greatly.

When I first built my new PC I knew I wanted to move into editing my photos with a Wacom tablet after borrowing a smaller one. Originally I wanted to go with the medium, but after seeing the measurements it felt too cramp for my 27 inch monitor. I advise anyone looking to get this to immediately delve into the settings as the defaults are a bit strange. An added benefit is that it doubles as an input device if you have RSI issues with a normal mouse, and trackball. It takes time to get used to, though.

I use the tablet for photoshop, and it has changed everything about the way I edit. great battery life when you want to go wireless and no connection issues like the older versions had. I dont think I can ever go back to edditing with a mouse. If you do any kind of photoshop edditing or digital drawing this is a MUST HAVE!

I dropped and broke my previous Medium Intuos Pro. I have been a huge fan of this device… an absolute must-have for anyone doing serious image editing. The unit I just received is a revised version of the same model (my old one was a few years old). The new version is smaller and fits well on my desktop (and in my briefcase), so I am really pleased with it. The Bluetooth also seems to work better than the older one. What I do not like about the new model is that the LED indicators are smaller and more difficult to see – even when set to their brightest settings. The buttons are also more cramped making them just a bit more difficult to use. Overall, this is an outstanding device.

This tablet is definitely everything I wanted in a graphics pad. I love the pressure sensitivity. It is a bit of a learning curve, but it is exactly what I thought it would be!!

It never wakes up after my iMac goes to sleep (I use it connected via USB 100% of the time) I have to restart the computer, unplug and replug the Wacom, and several different things to make it wake up again. The product doesnt work as expected. When it works, its great.

Works good with Lightroom and photoshop.

This was always glitchy at best and gave up the ghost after 2 years of light use.

It was good while it lasted, but one day it just stopped working. I tried replacing the cable, but no luck. The machine is dead. Too bad the warranty has expired only two months ago… It’s a too expensive product to die after only one year.

Easy setup on Mac. Many shortcuts to make life easy with all of the major design programs. But, you do have to order a screen cover separately (recommended) for an additional charge. So far, so great!
