The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

Large (uncramped) working surface makes workflow smoother. Previous (3) tablets all were OK but this is a dream to use.

Since I will mainly be using it for photo retouching it takes a lot of getting used to. If I had the money the one with the display would be more intuitive this one is going to take some practice.

Fast shipping, the cheapest price you can get, no tax too! You can’t go wrong with this purchase. If you’re an artist like me! The special edition is the same thing as the original cept it has the silver outlining. I thought that was cooler. It works perfectly and shipping was very very fast and efficient! Buy before you regret!

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel moving into a tablet for photo editing but I couldn’t be happier. Very intuitive and user friendly.

This tablet works very well, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the wireless module is not very stable, but I use it with the cable most of the times. I really like how it has a precision mode for the pen, works very well for color grading.

The Intros Pro Tablet works great. I’m currently using it with a 13-inch Macbook Pro Retina as my travel, on-location solution for touching up photos. This makes retouching a breeze! This is the first graphics tablet that I’ve owned (previously, I’ve used multiple Surface Pro units and Thinkpad convertible tablets, which used Wacom digitizers, I’ve also used non-Wacom digitizers on convertible tablets) and I’m currently a big fan of using this as a mobile solution alongside my Macbook Pro.

Works as expected. Only complaint is that the setup disc didn’t work on my mac for some reason, so I ended up going out to their website to download the drivers. Also ran into some issues with the registration page being broken for a day or two, but it looks like they have fixed that. Once I downloaded the drivers and installed everything went smoothly. It definitely takes some getting used to but I can already tell that I am going to love it, especially once I get it setup according to my personal preferences. I also like that it came with some free software downloads that look pretty interesting.

I previously had a Graphire Wacom tablet that worked fine but this Intuos Pro is a whole new ball game. The ability to program buttons, pen and wheel and individualize for different programs is amazing.I use the tablet for photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. In addition to having pressure sensitivity, I’ve programmed a lot of other specific tasks in these programs and watching videos on Wacom’s site and on Youtube. My only complaint is that, there’s so much I can do with the customization, I’m a little overwhelmed but as I use it more, I’m figuring it out.

I’m using the tablet with Lightroom and preparing for my eventual purchase of Photoshop. Very nice tablet, my first, but it is frustrating in the beginning. However, I knew going in that there was going to be a learning curve and a period of adjustment. The programmable buttons are great – use them per application or task. I’m used to the Apple iMac Trackpad and the tablet does not support one-finger click and drag so that was a pain in the butt. The initial setup is clumsy. Wacom should streamline this. You have to download the latest driver and it entailed a bit of fumbling around. Also, there seems to be some confusion at Wacom support about feature differences between the Windows and Mac versions and they didn’t understand the driver designations (for example, 6.3.13w3 is the Windows version and 6.3.13f3 is the Mac version). This caused some headaches. 5 star product but the setup and support issues bump it down to 4 in my estimation. Plus, it would be great if they supported one-finger click and drag for the Mac in the future.

Wacom (WAH-COM, as I learned for sure from the B&H info video on this Wacom tablet) has been in the tablet business for years, so this is pretty much the gold standard. Retraining one’s hand eye coordination to go from the relative position of a mouse to the absolute position of the tablet, takes time. I was happy to learn that one does not have to map all of the display to the tablet, or map the tablet to all of the display. One can select to use just a portion of the tablet to represent the display. This give one the option of a compact use area comparable to the small version of this tablet, with the ability to map to use the entire tablet, if you want. Anyway, I am happy with it and will be using it, for a start anyway, primarily with the Lightroom adjustment brush, making use of the pressure sensitivity of the tablet to control the intensity of my adjustment brush work.

Owned a pair of Wacom medium tablets. Always fought for deskspace for using these tablets. The tablets were great but that space thing wasn’t! Switched to a single, wireless, WacomPro small and found the perfect companion for desk(s), as I can switch between systems, and for travel when on location. Highly Recommended! One additional note – had a small problem with the wireless USB connection. Wacom service was outstanding! They had me a replacement in hand while my RMA was in process of getting to them. Really appreciate their professional service.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I often use adobe photoshop, illustrator and indesign. The driver is easy to set up for wireless or to use via cable. Highly recommend the Intros Pro to anyone who needs more control than a mouse can provide. I’ve been using Wacom products for years and I remember there WAS a learning curve to figure out movement and translate what you are wanting to the computer. But now it feels as natural as writing with a pen and paper.
