The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I would use it more if my kids would let me use it

It’s been 2 week that I am using it but I still could not get used to it. I am using Photoshop and Illustrator and I still work better with mouse. I hope I will be able to use it soon as I have seen people using it very effective on YouTube.Sometime it cannot be turned on after it wakes up from sleeping.

I am learning this product but loving it every time I turn on my computer.

As a retoucher who needs a reliable tablet on a daily basis, there was just no question on which brand and model to buy. Can’t recommend this enough.

As a replacement for an Intuos 5 Medium tablet, I find the Intuos Pro Small tablet to be a much better choice. I find my hand and arm move less to cover the entire screen area thus reducing stress and fatigue. I use the tablet in the wired mode since I don’t have a specific need to move from my workstation, but the tablet does come with the tools to go wireless. Great value and great support!

I like this tablet and overall, I think its an improvement over the Intuos Touch 5 but its got one *big* flaw. Unlike the previous version, you cant assign four different functions to the touch ring–youre limited to *one* function. You cant even set up multiple key definitions and switch between them in the tablet preferences, you have to recreate the custom definition every time you want to switch from one to another. This severely limits the usefulness of the touch ring.

i was introduced to the wacom system when i first was introduced to photoshop. this is a replacement for a long in the tooth system. i tried using a mouse and just never could get the hang of it. the pen is just like an extension of my hand. small size is perfect. i see no need for a larger tablet.

I ordered this for an online PS painting class, it’s the perfect size, I was happy I ordered the small it’s plenty large enough for me! Works great and it was well worth the price.

I had previously purchased the Huion brand tablet, trying to save money. Mistake! Ordered another Wacom after losing all my gear in a fire and it is SO much better and easier to work on. My work flow is faster and more enjoyable. Stick with Wacom!

I just updated from the Bamboo to the Pro and I am very pleased with the ease of use. I use it often instead of a mouse but always on photos. Wish I’d purchased the pro rather than the Bamboo, which was good, but my purchase was based on cost only. I did download the updated driver rather than use the CD that came with.

Seems to work just fine is because I haven’t used a wacom tablet in a long time and I’m still getting used to it. I have no doubt that the more I use it the more I will like it.

A huge upgrade in terms of build quality and feeling (especially the pen) compared to my old Wacom Intuos Photo Pen & Touch Small Tablet. The old one had always this scratchy feeling on the hard plastic surface

Works as advertised. A bit of a learning curve involved in making the most of it.

I am a digital artist (specifically focusing on painting renditions) so this review will be focused soley on the artistic aspects of the tablet. Note this is my first time writing a review. It is also my first time owning a tablet (I’ve relied on other digital mediums till now). The Intuos Pro professional pen & touch tablet Medium is as everything it claims to be, versatile to your preferences and easy to use. One would think not being able to see your hand on the screen itself would cause hand-eye cordination problems, but transition is surprisingly easy (or at least it was for me). The things I most liked about it is: lightweight, smooth, pen batteries are long lasting (I often spend many hours drawing a day), versatile in multiple functions to suit your preferences, be it photo editing, painting, or simply using it in place of a mouse. The sensitivity can be adjusted, touch can be turned on or off, can be used by left or right handed users, it’s fully customizable. It’s comfortable to have in your lap or desk, and with a little time is easy to figure out. It’s also rather durable (I accidently sat on it, but it seems to be fine.) The things I least liked about it were: drawing area is too small (though zooming functions are available), the tablet itself is slightly large and in the way; not meant for a small or cluttered desk. The pen nips wore down too quickly for me, became sharp, I worried if it would end up scratching the screen in the long term. I have read up on this and some people experienced the same problem while others have not, whether it’s a common issue or not is unknown to me. Besides a few flaws it is everything it needs to be and the problems it has are minuscule and easily over looked. Would recommend to any other artist that would like to get involved in the digital art world.

I use this for drawing in Photoshop and Illustrator and it has just about replaced my mouse. I’ve only owned it for a couple of weeks and I’m not too far up the learning curve but after starting out feeling very awkward and somewhat frustrated I have become comfortable with it. I think the medium size would be fine for a lot of people. I use it with 3 monitors so it’s nice to have the larger pad.

The tablet/pen are far quicker and more sensitive than the mouse. Post production now moves much faster. I ordered the small tablet, which is larger than I need. Glad I didn’t order a larger tablet.
