The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I upgraded from an Intuos3 tablet of similar size and this IntuosPro feels more refined. The quality of manufacturing and parts used looks better. The wireless functionality could be a plus but so far I haven’t had the need to use the tablet that way. The nibs wear off too quickly and it will get more annoying than expensive to having to replace them all the time.

I replaced my tablet which was 5 years old. I was hoping that the new Intuous table would be compatible with copying material on email, but it is not. With inconvenience I have to fish out the mouse for online and even to push basic buttons for the Photoshop plugin AI-Sharpen, which does not respond to the Wacom pen. I use the pen as much as I possibly can, even for word-processing, but it is invaluable in Photoshop.

Couldn’t pass up the price, $50 below Amazon! Super-fast FREE shipping too?!?! All of my designer friends were jealous when I told them of this deal. So glad I found it!

I had to turn off the touch controls because I’m left handed and if I rest my hand on it for a second, something happens and it’s different time. It’s ok for painting. Other issues are about Pen pressure when you use the calligraphy brush. No pen pressure options.

Already, somethings I do are easier and more accurate with the pen than mouse or trackball, but still into it’s learning curve.

This makes the Adobe products mush easier and faster to use, It takes a little getting used to, but it is great! Glad I got the med size, I think the small would be hard to pork in photo shop. Some day I will try the large (when I am rich).

Purchased it mainly for Photoshop but worrks nicely with all other programs. I’m left-handed so it gives my right hand a break from hundreds of mouse clicks.

After 7 years my Intuos 4 finally wore out… This Intuos Pro is a very welcome update. New feel is tactile and responsive on all levels. The footprint and form are sleek, and wireless is perfect! As a daily user of PS-CC, PP-CC, ID-CC this is exactly what I needed

I am an After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Cinema 4D user. It is a pretty easy learning curve to use this pen/tablet combo. Tablets have definitely come a long way from the previous versions. It’s almost as smooth as the old Quantel paintbox tablets. I was having shoulder problems and using a mouse seemed to be aggravating it. Using the pen helps with a more natural posture and is helping my shoulder. Love the touch feature also. it’s like having a giant mouse pad in front of you. Controls are easy to learn and easily customizable. The wireless feature is also awesome.

At first, everything felt a bit foreign but the more you use it the more it becomes second nature. So with that said I am really starting to see the huge benefit to using this tablet in Photoshop. The pen technology is simply amazing.

I have no complaints about the graphics performance of this tablet, but be forewarned: THE USB PORT IS FRAGILE!!! This the second Intuos tablet that has had this problem. On my first Intuos 4 tablet, I found that there is no mechanical connection between the USB port and circuit board to which it attaches. Wacom doesn’t use screws, metal tabs that penetrate the board, or any other means of affixing the port to the board, other than the electrical connections to the foil trace on the board. The result is that any forces that are present at the USB cable plug are transferred directly to the port, and thence to the port’s electrical connections to the circuit board. The upshot is that all of the port’s ability to handle any physical force depends exclusively on the tiny foil traces’ ability to adhere to the circuit board (as I recall, there are only four connections: two for data and two for DC power.) As such, plugging in and unplugging a USB cable always puts stress directly on the port’s electrical connections. Over time, those connections fail…consistently, reliably, and predictably. Wacom needs to mount the USB port onto the board with screws or tabs or some other means that takes the load off those tiny foil traces. So far, they’ve not done so. If you’re going to use this tablet, either leave the USB cable plugged in, never unplug it, and protect it from any bumps, tugs, yanks, or other forces that will pull the foil traces off the circuit board. If you can’t do that (or it’s a royal pain to baby it), buy the extended warranty. You will need it. I learned that lesson with my first tablet. So, I bought the extended warranty, and sure enough, within 15 months after purchasing this tablet, the USB port died, three months after Wacom’s puny one-year warranty expired. I just filed a claim under the SquareTrade warranty, and I’ll have a repaired tablet back in under a week.

So far unable to even use the tablet due to impossible install issues. Have tried everything to get it to work and will need to try and see if Wacom can help. Says Preference Error – could not load Wacom Tablet Preference Pane. Will update review if we ever get it to work.

I received the tablet yesterday and put it to use right away. It took me no more than 10 minutes to set it up and ready for use. I thought that there would be a learning curve to adjust to using a pen vs a mouse. Not at all, within 20 minutes I was incredibly comfortable and have noticed an improvement in productivity. Im very happy with the purchase and as always B&H was a breeze to work with.

I’ve always heard of these and finally decided to give it a try. Takes a little while to get used to. Its only been a couple weeks and I’m already hooked on it for lightroom and photoshop. I work way faster with it than with the mouse. I like the pen holder and the fact it has all those replacement nibs, although i haven’t tried any yet. The wireless is kinda cool too, even though the tablet never leaves my desk, the absence of wires is a plus.

Coming from the Intuos 4, this is a great upgrade for all those who struggle daily with dongles after going all usb-c with the Macbook Pro. The PRO Wacom line is made to last and the improvements they made to the pen keeps its title as the best pen experience I had to this point. I use it with a 40 4k screen, the size of the tablet is perfect – not making you tired for being too being or having precision loss in a tiny space. A must have for creative professionals.

I use this product with Photoshop for editing photos. It works very well as advertised. Some people I know use this also for drawing or painting on the computer. This is my second purchase of this product, the fist one being four years ago.

This is the perfect size tablet for me, and I got it for two reasons – processing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. A quality product.

After some difficulty with getting the digital pen to work, I brought it in and got a satisfied demo showing from a salesman/technician that the product worked. Resolution was suggested that I check with Photoshop tech support. They helped me install a newer version and mow the product works fine.
