The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I owned a Wacom tablet many years ago and liked it. It had it’s advantages over a mouse for sure, but it was still necessary to go between the tablet and the keyboard and the mouse to accomplish most tasks. Therefore, I never really used it in my workflow. The Intuos5 is AMAZING!!! The pen is better than ever. But the Express Keys and the Radial menu make it so that you almost never have to leave the tablet. I have customized the tablet so that the Express Keys are set up for the functions I most use in each application, and it has saved me tons of time in my retouching. Combine the Intuos5 with the power of Photoshop CC and you have a truly remarkable tool box!

After using Graphire and then Bamboo for upwards of 12 years, I finally made the decision to upgrade to the Intuos Pro. What a great choice! I enjoy working on the medium sized Intuos with my 27 iMac, it seems like a good fit. I really like the wireless option and the touch function. I use the touch function and the pen interchangeably all the time. (But maybe thats because I’m left handed, but use a mouse and touchpad with my right.)

Installation on a mac was frustrating. After hours back and forth with Wacom having to delete and reinstall drivers etc. You would think they would just admit there are glitches.

best thing that ever happened to me… in the editing world 🙂 Huge time saver and relief to my cramped hand. Happy I purchased. Learning curve was steep (lots of frustration) but not long… much better by day 2 even.

No instructions come with this product. You have to go to the Wacom website to download drivers. How to do this was not at all obvious and I had to contact the company for help. Once this occurred, I still was not able to use the tablet because there was no information that I had to go into settings on my Mac laptop to allow the tablet to be used on the Mac. Again, I had to ask Wacom for help. This was an incredibly frustrating experience that could have been avoided by better documentation by the company. I will say, though, that the person who helped me was indeed helpful. But, I shouldn’t have had to go through this process. I was also disappointed that a USB-C adapter was not included with the product. Once I had the tablet up and running it is working to my expectations and I’m glad I purchased the product.

Im graphic designer and this is the best tablet, nice and soft, and speed up all my work, its so much customisable that you can easily forgot how you can work with out it. I use it for my photography in Lightroom, and photoshop, and for my drawing and make so naturals and beautiful lines! Only cons for me its that could be a little more sensitive on the first touch radial menu and multitouch (both so handfuls) but still this is one of the best on the market, and the small size is perfect size, same sizes as my mac, and ideal for photography retouch.

I am taking an online photography class and this is proving very useful. It allows so much creative freedom and precise control as opposed to trying to use a mouse in Adobe software! It does take some getting used to, but a great buy. Well worth the price.

Have used Wacom Intuos for a few years and the Intuos Pro is well worth the investment for serious photo artists, artist and graphic art. Love the feel and the wonderful response I get from it, including the pressure adjustments. I use with both Painter and Photoshop and the amount of new brushes out there is just great for this tablet. No complaints on this one. I do not think you will find negative reviews.

I purchased this tablet to replace an older Wacom that no longer worked with the new OS driver.

Takes about a week, like many others say, to really start to feel comfortable. After that, it’s fantastic. I’ll never use a mouse to edit again!

the tablet work good is just way to big, you do not need such a big tablet. you don’t need to spend more money just get a smaller one (cheaper and works the same)

Currently have the small tablet. Looking forward to the larger tablet because it will enable us to do larger illustrations first. For those of you accustomed to using the mouse, there is definitely a learning curve, but worth the effort in the long run. Skip the inking/live trace step all together. In addition, this tool is great for illustrations that use a lot of stippling.
