The Intuos Pro Paper Edition Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has eight customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This Paper edition includes a Paper Clip, a Finetip Pen, and ten sheets of A5 paper, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. The Intuos Pro is compatible with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, and in “Paper Mode”, you can use either the Finetip Pen, a ballpoint pen, or even a pencil. To share your sketches right away, connect to your iOS or Android device using Bluetooth.

I bought this tablet to replace my mouse for photo editing and to use as a replacement for my mouse. Once received and unboxed I found it’s build to be sturdy, Well designed and thought out. The set up instructions are minimal but enough to do the job. After that however you’re on your own to learn how to set it up for your needs. It will take some getting use to as using a pin is totally different than a mouse. But you can assign the different buttons/ nibs to your own liking. You can also have the same buttons/ nibs behave differently depending on the application. I was at a point where I was practicing with the tablet and went to get some refreshments. When I got back, the computer had gone into screensaver mode and would not come out until I connected my mouse. Come to find out, the computer no longer recognized the tablet. Looking for solutions on the internet, I found that this is a common issue with the tablet after you update the driver. I tried all the online solutions and called Wacom Customer service and tried their solutions. I had to ship the tablet back to them (my cost) for a replacement. Waiting my replacement.

Great quality tablet. not for me because of hand and screen coordination was too much of a learning curve to invest in. i got the touch version and i think if i would to do it again i would get one without it. I found my self switching it off a lot of the time. otherwise the product is well design and the tablet surface has a great feel to it. For that reason i will upgrade to the Cintiq.

The product and brand is great to use although I do have a couple of issues. The buttons on the tablet very often get pressed by my wrist just resting on the tablet. I have disabled the buttons functions via their software but this does not stop a window popping up on my screen. The other issue I have is that the pen sometimes doesn’t work correctly all the time. For the price they should have these fixed but there is no competitor out there for them to worry about.

After using an Intuos 3 for many years I figured it was time for a new tablet. Wow! Am I happy I did. The tablet and pen are used every day for general web browsing and for photo editing. The express keys, along with the radial wheel, are so customizable that web browsing is far more convenient than using a mouse. The extensive customizing for photo editing is also great. I use it with Lightroom, Paintshop X7, Perfect Effects 9 and other editing software and have had no problems. My workflow is far more efficient than it was with my older tablet. Configuring the features can be daunting to first users so I’d suggestchecking out the many video tutorials.

Great tablet. This is my first time using one. Easy setup. It takes a while to get used to. Practice, practice, practice. It lessens the difficulties of having to use a mouse. Excellent for Photoshop retouching

I’ve been using Wacom tablets for many years now. The latest iteration of the Intuos Pro has been a delight to use. I’m a huge fan of no longer being tethered via a cable and the device has matured quite nicely over the years from a form and function standpoint. Very pleased with my purchase.

We purchased this tablet after our smaller wacom tablet died after years of hard use. We upgraded to this one and we can’t be happier. We are able edit faster and finish products in a shorter time frame.

I bought this to use with Photoshop. I’m a serious amateur and use a Nikon 610 and some older film medium format cameras which I scan the film with a Minolta DiMage scanner and import to Photoshop. For me, small size tablet works great in that my arm movements are very limited and much more comfortable for long sessions at the computer. I would absolutely recommend this product and the folks at B&H were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Wacom product line.

After over 15 years of faithful duty I decided to purchase a new tablet to go with overall system upgrade. The transition was seemless. Wacom makes the best tablets. Intuitive. Well made. A worthwhile addition

Extremely easy to work with and gives your mouse hand a break. Don’t know how I have functioned so long without it. A must have.

I’ve been using Wacom Tablets for years (2007). Ever since then, I can’t live with out them. I’am a photographer and graphic artist. There is no way, editing and drawing, could be easier than using a Wacom Tablet. Ive had 3 of them. Most recent model Intuos Pro 2017. These things work for ever. I changed mine just to have the latest model, and sold my older ones in perfect working conditions. These tablets are worth every penny. I truly, truly, truly recommend this product.

I edit video for a living and spend most of the day clicking away. You might not think of this as the first choice for an interface for video editing. Mice and trackballs give me carpal tunnel syndrome but holding a pen on this tablet does not. A tablet also can be set to map it’s surface directly to the screens I am working on so I can develop muscle memory and work interfaces without even looking at them- the gestural equivalent of touch typing. I would give it 5 stars if the buttons and control ring were in a contrasting color so I could see them easily.

I’ve been using off brand tablet for few years before I finally purchase Wacom Intuos Pro Small version. Honestly, what was I waiting for such a long time to get this product? It’s simply amazing!! It has more options to customize it to your work flow. Wireless option is mind blowing. I can take my edit on the road, coffee shot or any where else with out any wires, make sure tablet is fully charged and you are good to go!!!

This was a gift from my dad after I recommended I would like to have one of these because I was learning photoshop. I was completely fine with a mouse and key board and didn’t think that there would be much of a difference. After the first time using it however, I can saw I wont edit in Photoshop or lightroom without it. It is so much more accurate. It is not easy to use and I got used to it within a day. There are tons of ways you can program the buttons to meet your personal needs. It has sped up my work flow and has made the process so much better. I would not hestitate to buy one becuase it is well worth the money! The small size is actually perfect. it is actually almost the size of my 15 mac (smaller though). I do have a PC and use it on the PC every now and then but it seems to have problems on the PC. Works much better on my MAC.

I had a really old Intuos that was no longer compatible with windows so I finally decided to upgrade. Although it’s taking some adjusting to, I love the touch functionality. Purchased the small so it would be easy to travel with. Only thing I wasn’t expecting was the battery life, which is well within normal range (use all day, charge overnight), but I had expected the charge to last as long as a wireless mouse. Now I know to carry my cord with me.

I had zero experience with graphics tablets prior to purchasing my Intuos 5. The functionality is very intuitive, and there are countless free resources across the internet for support. I will be using the tablet in conjunction with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
