The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I owned a 15 year old Intous 2. My only reason for giving this review less than 5 stars is that I was basically forced into replacing my old Intous tablet due to the fact that Wacom no longer provides drivers for it. When I upgraded my Mac to El Capitan, I had no driver for my old tablet. If you are a hardware company, you should give continued drivers for a product even though you no longer make it. But I must say that technology has come a very long way since my old Wacom tablet. This tablet far exceeds my expectations in features and functionality. I love the wheel and buttons which are programmable. It also supports touch which my old one did not. All in all I am very happy with it.

It’s been 2 week that I am using it but I still could not get used to it. I am using Photoshop and Illustrator and I still work better with mouse. I hope I will be able to use it soon as I have seen people using it very effective on YouTube.Sometime it cannot be turned on after it wakes up from sleeping.

I use Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing and do not think that I could go back to a mouse. While it takes some time to become comfortable with the pen, it really speeds up the process and improves accuracy of photo edits. The only think I miss is a mouse, which was supplied with my old Intuos 4, for those programs like word processing which make picking up a mouse a little inconvenient.

I purchased this tablet to replace an older Wacom that no longer worked with the new OS driver.

Great though I think you don’t need this size

At first, everything felt a bit foreign but the more you use it the more it becomes second nature. So with that said I am really starting to see the huge benefit to using this tablet in Photoshop. The pen technology is simply amazing.

I’m a digital artist and have been using one for years. Got the insurance after I spilled a cup of coffee and it died. Good investment.

The medium size is just right and great for editing all size photos. The software is easy to install and the entire contents well packed.

I had previously purchased the Huion brand tablet, trying to save money. Mistake! Ordered another Wacom after losing all my gear in a fire and it is SO much better and easier to work on. My work flow is faster and more enjoyable. Stick with Wacom!

Friend had older version told me I needed one but I didn’t believe him. I finally got the intuos pro medium and it makes not only 3d sculpting much easier it actually makes it possible to sketch. One thing I would say is go as big as you can afford the medium works for my 21in monitor but the small would deffinatly be way to small.

I was unsure about getting the medium Intuos vs. the small Pro, and I’m so happy I bought the small. My main use is for post processing of photos, and some light video editing, and this tablet is perfect. I have limited amount of room on my desk, and this fits perfect. It’s also incredibly travel friendly (fits nicely in backpack with a laptop). The tablet is easy to setup, and the fact that it comes with the wireless kit is a nice addition for the price.

I have been using the Wacom Medium for about 2 weeks now and find it to be one of the best pieces of gear out of my camera bag. I am a Lightroom CC users and this product make you feel so much closer to your photo edits. It gives you the full control of your edits and makes you much more involved in your finished product.

I’m a graphic designer & illustrator. This is my third Wacom Intuos product. I’m a fan of the tablet technology and I love the touch capabilities of this version. The Medium size is perfect as well (my previous two were small and large) This is just right! Now, the wireless feature is pretty disappointing all in all. First, there is still going to be a wireless USB plugged into your computer to use the wireless feature. I work on a laptop with only two internal USB ports. I was hoping for blue tooth compatibility with my computer (like my wireless keyboard). Then the battery charge for the wireless feature is only up to 6 hours. So I just keep it plugged in like the old version because I use the tablet all day – I work longer then eight hours! So, I don’t even have time or space for the wireless feature of this tablet. Too bad… one day I hope it will be truly wireless/bluetooth with NO USB plug!

After borrowing my sister’s Med Intuos 4, I opted for a Small of the newest version. It’s perfect for me for retouching. I even shrunk the interface to even smaller area than the default mapping (1/4 of the total area). I’m currently using a 19, expecting to get a 27 when I have the moolah. I might be in the minority that likes an ultra-sensitive Wacom (sensitivity is relative to the ratio of monitor and Wacom size). I do a lot of short and brief strokes for my workflow. Artists who use larger motion and more arm and elbow in their work would probably opt for Medium or Large. I don’t like that it’s made in China, even though the quality is quite good. (it’s a political issue)

I had a small Wacom Intuos tablet years ago. This tablet is so much better! After reading many reviews including one that showed recommended tablet size based on monitor size/resolution, I bought the medium instead of the small, and the Pro version instead of the cheaper one for the extra sensitivity levels. (I have a 27 Imac). The medium tablet is a perfect size for drawing directly into Photoshop, without being too large for my desk. The pen is so smooth, it just glides which makes accurate drawing and corrections easy. The programmable express keys are a real time saver. I was getting carpal tunnel symptoms from drawing too many hours with paper and pencil. Since I switched to the tablet, I have no pain or numbness in my hand or elbow- an unexpected benefit. It was frustrating for the first five minutes, until I got the scrolling, etc set up to my preferences; now I wouldn’t be without it. For photo retouching I would have been satisfied with the cheaper tablet, but for drawing this is absolutely worth the extra cost. Highly recommended!
