The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

I use this tablet for Adobe Illustrator and it works great!!

Really really great! Thought it would be difficult to draw without look at the tablet. Not at all!

I love the tablet, although there is a learning curve for me primarily because its my first tablet. Setup was straightforward, it worked out of the box just fine. I regret getting the large size, but i didnt know any better. Ive mapped a smaller area of the screen to the tablet so movements arent quite as large and sweeping. I think a medium would have been fine, and of course cheaper. I have no regrets though, am happy with the purchase.

While there was nothing wrong with my old Wacom tablets, new operating systems and lack of driver support for Windows 10’s latest build forced an upgrade. The pros: The Intuos Pro takes up less desk space. I like the dark color in a dimly lit studio The express buttons and touch ring are sometimes useful in specific situations The stylus feels comfortable in hand and has a good range of expressive control The driver has an option to turn off Windows Ink now. This means no more problems with dragging and dropping. Although if you want scrolling in a browser, you have to enable it for that application. It’s easy to bring up the settings panel and customize buttons and stylus for various applications. The cons: Many of the problems I had with the old Wacom under Windows 10 remain: sometimes inability to interact with an app. often restored by going to the taskbar and minimizing and restoring the app and then I can interact with it. New issue where sometimes after certain operations, the tablet cursor disappears for 30 seconds and I cannot do anything with the computer until it appears later. Touch feature sometimes worked for a short time, then ceased to work. When touch feature worked, I found it would sometimes get the PC into a state where I could not interact with the desktop or any application. My only option was to reboot Windows. I have since switched it off and have had fewer problems since. The pen storage is vertical, not at an angle like the old stylus base. It’s less comfortable to pick up and set in the base and it sticks up higher and gets into monitor field of view. The rubber grip on the pen collects dirt quickly. I have to wipe it off with a damp cloth several times a day because it looks dirty otherwise. Overall, it seems like a decent tablet. I bought two, one for each of my workstations.

Takes about a week, like many others say, to really start to feel comfortable. After that, it’s fantastic. I’ll never use a mouse to edit again!

I’m a professional photographer who has used Wacom tablets for some years now. The new Pro tablet is one of the best I have used. I chose to purchase the small version (Used large and mediums before) this time after talking with friends, the small unit is a lot easier to work with since I don’t have to move the pen as much went I want to drawing in an area. Some people do not like the touch surface that is integrate into the new tablet but I love it. It make it easy to switch from photoshop to other programs on my computer. For example if I am working on an image and need to check email I don’t need to go to the mouse, I simply keep using my tablet. With the quick buttons it is easy to turn the functionality on and off with the press of a button. Therefore, if your palm keeps messing with your pen skills turn it off when you are working in the editing software and back on when you need it. The wireless functionality is great on set, because it keeps the work space clean and clear of distracting wires. The battery seems to go all day for now but if it were to go low it is simple to reconnect it and continue working. The new pen is a little more comfortable, I do wish they offered the travel case for it without having to purchase an entirely new pen. All the tips that come with the purchase will have just the right feel for anyone. All around the sensitivity and functionality of the new Wacom Pro makes it the best buy for the modern digital artist.

I use it most of the time in Lightroom. I hope that Wacom would fix the driver for smooth slider and curve control in Lightroom. Works great in Photoshop.

I’ve been using off brand tablet for few years before I finally purchase Wacom Intuos Pro Small version. Honestly, what was I waiting for such a long time to get this product? It’s simply amazing!! It has more options to customize it to your work flow. Wireless option is mind blowing. I can take my edit on the road, coffee shot or any where else with out any wires, make sure tablet is fully charged and you are good to go!!!

I just upgraded from the Intuos 3 that I have had for 6 plus years. This is a nice upgrade and offers some great new functionality. A tablet is the best way to edit photos in Photoshop and other editing tools.

To say this is different from the mouse I have used for a very long time this feels odd. However, as I learn to use it I can feel that once I conquer it that it will be worth the struggle. Some say to just lock up your mouse and use the tablet. I may get there but for now, I like the combination of keyboard, mouse, and Wacom. Different tools for different jobs. We will see!!!

I had a really old Intuos that was no longer compatible with windows so I finally decided to upgrade. Although it’s taking some adjusting to, I love the touch functionality. Purchased the small so it would be easy to travel with. Only thing I wasn’t expecting was the battery life, which is well within normal range (use all day, charge overnight), but I had expected the charge to last as long as a wireless mouse. Now I know to carry my cord with me.

I was looking into buying Intuos Pro, and the size was a big enigma for me. I have 21.5 monitor, and in the end went for the small one. It is perfect, because I don’t prefer big hand movements and it is just the right size for my desk. I also read a lot about the learning curve when moving to a tablet vs. a mouse, but I also read all the possible reviews and it seems that in my head I already switched to the new retouching tool. I have been using it for 2 weeks now in LR and PS, and must say it is a big improvement in my precision.

It was good while it lasted, but one day it just stopped working. I tried replacing the cable, but no luck. The machine is dead. Too bad the warranty has expired only two months ago… It’s a too expensive product to die after only one year.

I gifted the Wacom Intuos Pro Tab for my wife on her birthday and she loves to use it. This has drastically reduced the time to edit the photos on Photoshop.
