When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. I’ve been using Wacom Tablets for 17 years and this is my third one. On the plus side, it is very compact for a medium tablet, has nice customize buttons and weighted pen holder, is very responsive. On the negative side, the USB cord is too short and should be a good 9-12″ longer in order to reach the computer tower without being pulled so tightly. The feel of the pen on the tablet is also not as smooth as my previous tablets were. I experienced a lot of weird bugs to the software. It wouldn’t load and install properly and anytime the computer would go to sleep, the drivers would disappear and I’d have to reinstall them and reconfigure my tablet again. The directions from Wacom that come with the tablet seem to be wrong. It appears to be important to download the updated driver FIRST and then plug in your tablet. That seemed to do the trick for me. The instructions with the tablet tell you to just plug in the tablet and then download the updated driver. I ended up uninstalling everything, then reinstalling fresh with the newest updated driver, then plugging in the tablet. So far so good!

Hello, I’m loving my Wacom Intuos Pro Pen & Touch Tablet Special Edition. I recently bought the stand and the screen protector for it which is adding to my delight. I’m a big fan of silver and black and have placed the silver/gray ring on my pen. The tablet and pen are working just fine–the only issue was the CD enclosed did not work, so I downloaded my drivers from your website. Am looking forward to creating some great art. Thank you so much!

It does the job well. I had the large version, but it was too big, so I downsized to the Small, and it’s the right size for me. It feels better when editing and fits my desk better.

Couldn’t pass up the price, $50 below Amazon! Super-fast FREE shipping too?!?! All of my designer friends were jealous when I told them of this deal. So glad I found it!

I was forced to upgrade from a Wacom Intuos 3 after my cat chewed through the USB cord. The Intuos Pro Medium really is an upgrade in certain areas– the extra Express Keys and the Touch Ring are really useful and efficient, and I like the cordless option. However, the tablet falls short in a few key areas that it really shouldn’t, given the price tag. Durability: The active area scratches easily. I had the 3 for at least 10 years, and have had the Pro for just under 3 months; it’s already showing more wear than the 3 (and with rather light, non-daily use). Pen nibs: I’ve already gone through more of these than in the 3’s ten years, as well. They wear down very quickly to a point sharp enough to score paper (hence all the scratches). Software: The driver resets some of my Photoshop preferences every time I start my computer (so that I have to reassign certain Express Keys), and has on several occasions uninstalled itself completely. Other: The velvety, matte finish feels nice but is a magnet for dust and fingerprints; I store it in the plastic bag it came in, inside a laptop sleeve, just to keep it clean when not in use. (The 3’s shiny plastic exterior was much easier to clean.)

This tool makes your workflow so much easier. I like the tactile feel of working with an old fashioned pen.

I’m an 80 yo retired surgeon and jumped into photography a few years ago. This device makes photo modification with Lightroom and Photoshop much easier. I can get accurate details I cannot get with a mouse and love this. I am sure that with time , I will increase my use as I delve into potentials

Sometimes larger is better. When it comes to this tablet, I find myself more expressive with the larger tablet. Yes, you need to get used to the size, and losing the space on the desk, but after you have acclimated, it is next level. I guess the next step is Cintiq, but right now it just doesn’t fit in my workflow.

I did quite a bit of research before I purchased this tablet and I was not disappointed by its performance at all, even though my expectations were quite high. The installation on an iMac was easy and flawless. Right away, I was up an running. There are still a few Photoshop functions that I like to do on my trackpad and you can switch between the two seamlessly. The medium size tablet was the best choice for my 27 inch iMac for me and it doesn’t take up more desktop space than I have. However, I would choose the smaller one for the smaller MacBooks. I am thinking of purchasing the smaller one for on the road with my MacBook. The transition to a tablet was not as hard as I thought it would be, but I did take a course from Creative Live that helped out the transition. As I said, I can still use my Trackpad when I want to and can switch easily between the two on my desktop – although no one recommends that. It works for me. A quality product. I use my this tablet primarily for Photoshop and it has increased my productivity greatly.

An essential piece of technology for anyone who is a serious creative and photo/video editor. Even if I’m not editing, I still use the tablet to navigate my Mac. The large is big! Make sure you have enough room for it. Absolutely no complaints 🙂

Perfect size for location laptop – FYI – it supports bluetooth (no specialized receiver to keep track of – YAY! ). Works well for it’s size, no issues on connectivity or use… Wacom FTW! (Suggestion: apply some Velcro tabs to hold the pen to the tablet when in/on a location. Always seems to wander off…)

Love it… Directions leave a lot to be desired… which is why it gets four stars and not five. Intuos needs to hurry up and release USB-C connectors so that I don’t have to use a dongle with it and my laptop.

I got the small and it’s perfect. This replaces my Intuos Pro 4 medium, which wasn’t wireless. So this is my first wireless Wacom and it’s great to be able to sit back in my chair and edit with the tablet on my lap. And it’s easy to take the tablet and switch from my desktop to my laptop. The small size tablet is super convenient for mouse mode mapping of the pen. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

The tablet arrived on time and well packaged, which is typical of B&H. Since this is my fourth Wacom tablet, I didn’t think I would have issues with installation and configurations. Well, for whatever reason, my computer did not want to reboot after the initial installation. On top of that Windows decided that it needed an update at the same time. Since a restart to complete installation was stated as required, I thought I blotched both the update and the installation when the computer hung on reboot. When I finally got the computer to boot up to Windows 10, the pen responded to the tablet, but no touch??? This is where a better operating manual would have been appreciated… I tried reinstalling multiple times and still nothing. I wish installation steps would provide more feedback after each configuration change. Right before I gave up, I flicked the switch to the side of the Tablet, which I thought was the Bluetooth switch… well, as it turned out, that was the touch on/off switch. Because of the confusing installation, it took me a couple of hours when it should have been about 3 minutes. Aside from that, it works great…

I have had this tablet for about 4 months and to be honest i havent used it a whole lot until recently. Sad to say it’s not worth the money and I wish I had found out sooner. I have changed the sensitivity setting multiple times but it still cant handle my palm touching it or getting close. but the biggest thing is that when I turn it on it will say its now connected but wont do anything. I literally have to restart my entire computer and then turn the tablet back on to have it recognize its own pen, let alone my touch. And that with the dang thing plugged into the computer. Super unsatisfied, going to see what my options are for returns but like I said, its been a few months. I literally dont use it because it is nothing but a hassle.

A must have for editing in photoshop!

We use the product mostly with Photoshop as well as a napkin replacement for quick design talks over a webex. The responsiveness to the stylus pressure and angle is greater than a number or spec can convey. It is easy to pick up and use right away, very intuitive.

Man, this gear is awesome. What actually makes your photos look superb is neither expensive lens nor an expensive camera. Photoshop is where a real photographer can express his creativity. This kid is just designed to bring photoshop to higher level and if you have a good command of using this tablet you can do literally everything, You feel yourself like a GOD
