The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

For those also wanting to middle click when using the touchpad, you can assign 3 finger tap to a keystroke or keystroke combo and then use autohotkey to map that keystroke to the middle mouse button. This should be built in to the wacom software, but anyway it works.

I’ve been skeptical of tablet-ing for a long time. I thought my magic mouse did the trick when attempting fancy Photoshop tricks. I was WRONG. The Wacom has absolutely changed my practice, and therein, my life. Easy to use (I just plug play) and absolutely accurate. Highly, highly recommend. I’m just sorry that I was so late to the game.

It seems to work just as specified from the limited usage I’ve put it through so far. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the lack of a good informative user manual with it. That would be very useful. A real one.. not some pdf.

If one is looking to take their Photoshop expertise to the next level this tool is invaluable. The driver download was easily performed and the tablet was readily recognizable once the drivers were in place. It does take a few hours to start to master the device. I watched several YouTube videos on how to start with the device. I think that took a lot of the learning pain away. I do still try to use mouse strokes when locating my cursor; that may never get fully relearned. I hard a tough time deciding between the three sizes and finally landed on the Medium. I am certain that for the amateur photographer/graphic artist the large would have been overkill. Likewise, I now believe the small would have too little active real estate to allow for free brushing.

Win 7, Photoshop CS5 – experiencing serious software conflicts where the screen hangs randomly when Photoshop is open. Lots of documented cases of this on the web, on many versions of Photoshop. Latest version of the Wacom software is installed. Preferences deleted. Problem still comes and goes, and is very disruptive. Also, if desk space is a premium for you, FYI this tablet takes up much more desk space, for the same amount of active tablet area, than the Wacom Bamboo MTE-450 that it is replacing.

Mostly it does well, though a couple of disappointments. I switched off the touch feature after it kept on randomly detecting strokes caused by my hand touching the pad while using the pen. The other oddity is that is sometimes doesn’t detect a brief tap (single-left-click). Wacom support were responsive and sent another pen, but seems to be much the same. Doesn’t happen all the time though.

We purchased this product for one of our CAD Designers to use on her Workstation. She has enjoyed it since we plugged it in. The functionality is smooth and so is the integration. We have also used one of these Tablets for White Boarding in Microsoft Lync with great success. The users are able to make annotations on worksheets while speaking to a customer anywhere in the world.

I’m still new to the Wacom tablet but very impressed with the capabilities and options for enhancing the integration with typical Photoshop functions and actions.

great

Plain and simple, I now understand why Wacom cost a lot more then the competition. Had a different brand for about a year and it was ok(ish) but not as smooth or precise.

As a replacement for an Intuos 5 Medium tablet, I find the Intuos Pro Small tablet to be a much better choice. I find my hand and arm move less to cover the entire screen area thus reducing stress and fatigue. I use the tablet in the wired mode since I don’t have a specific need to move from my workstation, but the tablet does come with the tools to go wireless. Great value and great support!

I been using a Wacom tablet for 10 year. The new Wacom Intuos Pro is a great upgrade to their line up. The ability use both and pen is teriffic! The programable features are incrediable. I truly love the bluetooth feature this tablet. It’s a must have for editing photos in what ever sortware you chose to use.

Purchased this version for my daughter that is enrolled in an Art & Design College. She used a previous smaller version from the very same vendor for several years. Thought that she may work more comfortably with more square inches on the drawing surface and a newer pen and I was right. She loved it from the first moment, the setup was a simply as just plug it in her Windows 10 Laptop. Adobe recognized the tablet with no issue either. After almost two weeks after using it without any issue now I think is time to openly say that this Product is highly recommended.

This is my second Intuos. Mainly upgraded b/c I was having issues with my old (I believe it was 8 years old) intuos tablet. The Bluetooth is way better than the wireless connection I had in my old intous. Using a tablet makes fine tuning photos in photoshop much easier. In fact anytime I try to use a mouse now it just plain sucks lol I gave the tablet 4 stars b/c it seems to have some issues with Windows 10 (I’m assuming it’s just the OS and Wacom not playing well with each other). Perfect example of this is sometimes when dragging a scroll bar to go down a page, instead of dragging the bar down as it should, it wants me to drag up. There is no “predicting” when this will happen. So while editing a photo I may drag down one min to go through LR’s tools and then the very next time it wants me to drag up to go through the tools. Annoying. I have tried looking for a “fix” but haven’t found any.

This is my very first tablet! It was easy to set up right out of the box. The controls are easy to use. There are also a ton of videos on how to work with this tablet..which for me-is great! I would absolutely recommend this tablet to anyone who is into photography.!

This is hard to start till you get used to it, but it opens up new ways of doing photoshop.

As I’ve used a mouse for years, there was no learning curve to using this pen. The pad is plenty big for painting. I use it with photoshop and paint 2018 and it is all I will ever need in a pad.

The tablet works great and I don’t think I would like to be without it. However, with a Mac and up-to-date OS, the battery charge is inaccurate. Also the bluetooth connection at times has to be re-connected manually. These are minor and hopefully will be corrected in the future.
