The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. I’ve been using the intuos pro medium for the past several weeks and am very happy with it. It’s the perfect size for the graphic design and photography work that I do. Highly recommended!

I use the pen in Photoshop. It is buggy in that some Photoshop shortcuts don’t work (specifically the cntrl+alt right click to increase/decrease the brush size). Tried uninstall/reinstall, updating drivers, playing with settings to no avail. Had to search the internet for workaround requiring adding a text file to the ‘settings” folder to get it to work, but is still unreliable. Also, in Lightroom, the pen tool does not behave when using sliders. No workaround for this one.

this is for my daughter who’s been using Previous model for 6 years. Due to some delay, she moved to this one. Nice product. Somewhat expensive.

After some difficulty with getting the digital pen to work, I brought it in and got a satisfied demo showing from a salesman/technician that the product worked. Resolution was suggested that I check with Photoshop tech support. They helped me install a newer version and mow the product works fine.

Tablet overall is awesome, works almost exactly as it should. Also, the smaller active area works well for me, since it isn’t overly sensitive when trying to click tiny twirl down buttons or shy buttons. The surface does scratch really easily, I’ve had mine for about a week and it’s already pretty dinged up. You can’t really feel the scratches when moving the stylus around, which is awesome. They may even just be the plastic from the pen nib wearing down. The main thing that’s a huge inconvenience is the wacom drivers. They take up about 15% cpu pretty much all the time, and crash once every couple days. This means, you guessed it, that you can’t use your tablet until you restart your computer. Other than that, great purchase and I’m glad I bought it.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel moving into a tablet for photo editing but I couldn’t be happier. Very intuitive and user friendly.

I edit on Avid media composer and Premiere and this tablet has made editing more fun. Took a while to get use to it, but after getting the hang of it, it has been a breeze.

Very intuitive, easy to use. Helps a lot when retouching photos (Lightroom or Photoshop). A must!

As tablets go for Photoshop this is the consensus best, used by many experts and trainers in the field. I suggest buyers plan to review training vids because it is a complex tool with many functions that can overwhelm a new user. But will provide endless creative and workflow improvement over time. It is durable, handy, and proven to both add creativity and speed. The B&H deal for this was outstanding so rest assured you are getting the low price.

The tablet is not actually small or tiny, as advertised, but exactly of the same size as the middle sized tablet. Just the touch sensitive area is located in the middle, and remaining part is virtually cropped, what is indicated by the glowing corners. Pretty sure, the hardware inside allows to make the size of the tiniest panel to be less sizable, much more portable, even bu sacrificing some buttons or non-essential features. But what the heck, it works, and it’s cheaper. Personally, even for professional high end retouching I never need middle or large tablet, ergonomically speaking. I wish Wacom in the future to make our life easier and much more enjoyable. I love a spontaneous usage of the panel and ability to take it with you everywhere, and use any tiny corner of the small kitchen table or a spot near the window, etc…

I use this product as a professional illustrator/animator. My only complaint, a minor one, is that the pen nibs seem to wear down,a bit too fast. I am along time usef of these tablets and they respond as advertised, well worth the money. I only updated my tablet, because as I updated the MacOS, my older tablet will not work with the newer OS

Hard learning curve switching from a mouse or track pad but worth the dues.

If you use Photoshop to edit photos and do any artwork on a computer this thing, or a larger one, is a must. It does take some getting used to but worth it. There’s lots of settings to make it custom for your use. It also has several different types of pen nibs in the base that you unscrew to access them. The pen has a nice weighted feel and the back serves as an eraser when doing certain functions in different programs. And I think you can customize that too. Hey, I’m still learning a few tricks to it 3 months on. 😉 There are other cheaper brands of graphics tablets out there but from what I could find out Wacom makes the best quality and software wise. I’m pleased with mine!

The Wacom Pro adds so much to editing in photoshop. Once you spend a few weeks getting use to it, you will never go back to a mouse or track pad. The pen pressure makes so much difference. You really can’t do the same work without the tablet. I think the medium size is great. I also like a clean desk, so the wireless bluetooth connection is great. The tablet stays charged for days without being plugged in to USB. The pen never needs charging which is also a big plus. The tablet is very customizable with shortcut keys to help with your workflow.

Wacom has now been able to duplicate the issue and has confirmed there is a problem. It seem to be isolated to a recent release of Windows 10. They are working with Microsoft and Adobe to come up with a fix. No time frame yet. I had to send them a video of what I was experiencing in order to duplicate the problem. I am encouraged at this point. Hopefully a fix soon.

what a great purchase,I had it up and running in 2 days , one day of you tube lessons and intense practice, I was able to begin editing with this fantastic tablet, ver accurate, no glitches, I love this addition to my editing tools!!

I love these tablets but my biggest issues was the cord. Initially there were two, power and serial. Last one was just a single cord but still big and thick. This one is cordless and the battery lasts… well, I’m not sure. It’s been 8 days and I use it a lot and it’s still 56% full according to the little app in the windows notification area. I LOVE being able to sit back in my chair and draw. I wish I could afford the one that has the built in screen but that’s more than a grand and a few years away for me. Since the turn of the century I have not found a tablet on which I would rather draw. As an aside, I also got the airbrush pen and I do regret that purchase a bit. It totally does what it’s supposed to, feels good in the hand, but I think this is for people already comfortable with the airbrush. If you don’t already have the motor memory you can do the same with a regular pen; it just feels different.
