The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

I love this tablet. I expected to have a learning curve on hand-eye coordination but took to it like a duck to water. It is so much easier to use than the mouse. I am still learning how to set the keys up but the tutorials on line are wonderful.

Gah, this thing is super annoying. I am using this with the latest Macbook Pro 15 inch, over Bluetooth, and the connection cuts out about every 30 seconds, and leaves me waiting for 10-15 seconds for it to come back. Plugging in the USB cable does not fix this, nor does turning off Bluetooth. Yes, I have the latest firmware and drivers. 🙂 Yes, I have gone through the Wacom site and tried their suggestions. Other than it not, you know, working consistently, it’s great. This replaced an elderly Intuous II tablet in the XL size. The pen feels good in the hand, the nib feels fine — though it looks like I’ll be buying replacements on a regular basis, unlike the Intuous II. So when it works, I like it.

I tried another cheaper brand but the software just wasn’t good. I also tried the less expensive Wacom Intuos Creative ($200) but the experience just didn’t match what I was used to with the Intuos 4, so I returned it for the Intuos Pro. So far, so good. I didn’t have great luck using it via Bluetooth with my iMac, but your mileage may vary. Works fine plugged in via USB.

I love the design of this tablet but I’ve had so many problems with driver compatibility with Apple. The pen is glitchy and Wacom can’t seem to resolve compatibility glitches.

I decided that I needed to start using a tablet for my photo editing after I started having a lot of pain and fatigue in my mouse arm this past season. I don’t know why I waited so long to get a tablet. It has not only taken away the pain I was experiencing from repetative mouse clicks, but it has made my workflow more seemless an efficient. The medium size is perfect and gives me a large range of motion. I wish I switched over to a tablet years ago. It took me a couple days to get use to the motion, but is now completely intuitive. You can customize the pen and the buttons to suit your needs.

I don’t use the mouse at all. The pen tool is very ergonomic and my hand doesn’t get tired. As a graphic designer, it is perfect for designing because it is more sensitive and its easier to work on details. I would recommend this for anyone, not only designers because it is much easier to navigate. The tablet is also touch screen which is great for scrolling down/up or zooming in/out.

I use the product for my work in graphic designing. I depend on the quality of it, and it didn’t disappoint. it works perfectly! it’s a bit heavy, but that only matters when I go out to work at the coffee shop.

I had an older model Wacom pen and pad so this new updated one with touch pad is really fun. I’m having some difficulties in the click and drag (with my fingers) so that’s why I’m not giving it a 5 star rating. I’m still in the learning curve using the touch pad but I actually use it much more than the pen and really like that my user experience is much more integrated with my hand instead of holding a pen. Less fatigue.

After upgrading to IOS 10.10 I had to update the software for the tablet. The process was not smooth, refused to install correctly, and forced two calls and an email to tech support. The good news is that tech support was very helpful and cured the issues quickly. Still, why was the install routine such a problem? I have been using Wacom tablets for years and once you are used to the routine of pen vs. mouse it is much faster, more precise and easy to use.

Wacom has always been a great tablet. I have used Wacom for many years. It took me 2 days to install this tablet–with a lot of correspondence with Wacom’s Technical Support. Once installed, I still had issues using the pen in Photoshop…..More time with Tech Support. Once I got it up and running…Fantastic! The issues I had were due to Windows 10 Security Updates. Wacom was aware of these glitches, yet did not put the fixes in their installation program…I had to go the long, tedious route to install and fix bugs—So, the only criticism I have is that Wacom could (should) have foreseen the problem With Windows 10 and published these known issues and their fixes in their documentation, or better yet have included programming in their installation software to fix these issues automatically. Otherwise…a great product.
