The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

I love this, so much more responsive than my earlier one. I am not using all it’s features, that will take an old dog a bit of time, but I love the fact I can turn on the touch pad nature of it. I have my keyboard behind it, so normally rest my arms on this while typing and my wrists can trigger the touch pad if I leave it on. But it’s a very handy feature, easily turned on and off by a button on the side.

If you are using a MAC, do not buy a Wacom tablet. There are issue with the drivers not functioning properly and they will have you going through senseless exercises to fix but it’s all for nothing..DO NOT BY WACOM..

This is my second wacom tablet. This one feels solid and well built. They thought of a lot of nice details which make working with it simple and efficient. I’ve noticed when I am directly connected to my Late 2012 iMac via USB it works flawlessly, but when I am connected via Bluetooth, the latency is great enough for it to be unusable. I haven’t looked deep into the issue yet, so I’m not sure if there is a fix, but its frustrating as a great perk of this tablet is that it can be wireless.

I use this product for photo editing. I am a total newb to tablets. I’ve had this one set up for about a week now. It has a pretty big footprint so I had to set up my desk way different. I actually screwed a large piece of wood to the top of my existing desk to give me a much larger desk surface area. As I have no experience with previous tablets, I can’t judge based on other’s performance. I like it. It seems to work quite well. I’m still learning all it’s functions and I probably have a ways to go to get it all down. The pen feels good in my hand. Not too thin. I like that the extra nubs are stored in the base that holds the pen. Convenient use of space. I am still getting used to choosing it over my mouse and getting used to the feel of using a pen over a mouse. I am really realizing how much better it is for fine detail though. The mouse is starting to feel quite clumsy in comparison. I like the control I feel I have with the pen. The only thing I am not a fan of is where the cord connects with the actual tablet. It sticks way out and if I didn’t have it positioned how I do, I could see that breaking awful fast. I don’t really use the wireless aspect often. It says the wireless has a life of 5 hours at a time and I could easily use that up in one photo editing session. I don’t want to be bothered plugging and unplugging. I have my mousepad slid under the connector and it sits on top of that so there is no stress on it. It’s perfect height.

They sell the same product Wacom does on their site for way less! This Wacom is great. Large is too big, small is too small, but the medium size is perfect. Having touch capabilities drawing in photoshop and being able to spin the canvas with your fingers while you’re drawing is great.

It’s been years since I used a tablet; it’s taking some time to get used to it. I’ve long used a Magic Trackpad with my Mac Pro, so I really like the touch and gesture features of the Intuos Pro. It’s very similar to Apple’s trackpad. The pen is quite sensitive, very easy to use, but will take some time to master. Wacom’s software provides some tutorials for set-up, very helpful. The software seems excellent.I hadn’t expected to care much about the tablet’s wireless capability, but I’ve found that to be quite nice. When doing a major retouch job I can place the tablet in my lap, no wires in the way.A minor quibble: the touch sensitivity is much less than Apple’s Magic Trackpad. I sometimes must tap several times before it registers; tapping a bit harder seems to help. Also, the Medium is fairly large, with several inches of dead space to the right of the active area. It makes the tablet feel a bit bulky.

I bought this product to upgrade from an old Intuos 3. It is a worthwhile upgrade and functions as advertised. The registration process and support are awful. I spent more than two hours trying to register and talking with a support representative. He now asks Please provide me a screenshot of your proof of purchase and a screenshot of the back of the tablet showing the tablet model and serial number. He has been given that information via phone more than once. I am sorely disappointed in the service, but acknowledge that it is a good product.

This was always glitchy at best and gave up the ghost after 2 years of light use.

I received my Intuos Pro pen-tablet, and was enjoying familiarizing myself with its application – on the forth day the battery that enables the wireless system ran out. I reached our to B&H, from where I purchased the item – but two weeks later, no response from them. So reviewing an item, which in theory could be great help for photographers, would be difficult as I wait to hear back from B&H regarding the replacement battery.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I often use adobe photoshop, illustrator and indesign. The driver is easy to set up for wireless or to use via cable. Highly recommend the Intros Pro to anyone who needs more control than a mouse can provide. I’ve been using Wacom products for years and I remember there WAS a learning curve to figure out movement and translate what you are wanting to the computer. But now it feels as natural as writing with a pen and paper.

I was recommended this product by a professional retoucher, and I love it! Spent the extra money on this one… I love use it for dodging and burning (I know that’s pretty simple) I work with a lot of portraits and landscapes, and it come in handy for everything you can think of that you get mad at having a mouse for 🙂

I’m using and it’s fantastic

This allows me to edit in Lightroom or Photoshop with more control over things such as opacity. Using small brushes and other things that are doable with a mouse but the tablet makes much easier.
Leland Rutherford (verified owner) –
The best product for retouching and I highly recommend it.

I opted for the small tablet to replace my medium Wacom. The smaller footprint is much appreciated as is the shorter distance my hand needs to travel to get from top to bottom. The higher resolution is also very evident to me when I am adjusting sliders in both Lightroom and Photoshop-much more precise.

best thing that ever happened to me… in the editing world 🙂 Huge time saver and relief to my cramped hand. Happy I purchased. Learning curve was steep (lots of frustration) but not long… much better by day 2 even.
