The Intuos Pro Creative Pen Tablet from Wacom is a flexible graphical tablet that can be used to digitize your work, and by flexible, we don’t mean bendable. By itself, the Intuos Pro is a standard drawing tablet that connects to your system via USB or Bluetooth. It has customizable ExpressKeys and a Touch Ring to assist you with your workflow, and comes with the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. When combined with the separately sold Paper Clip, Finetip Pen, and paper, the Intuos Pro becomes the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, allowing you to sketch on paper and store your work without having to be online or connected to a computer. To share your sketches right away, you can connect to iOS or Android devices using Bluetooth. Edit videos and create motion graphics with two months of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects included when you purchase and register your tablet. Regional restrictions may apply.

My daughter received one as a gift for her birthday, and she loves it. It’s compatible with the art program she already had on her computer as well. She loves the large drawing area, and how easy it is to use.

This is a wonderful tablet, not only for photo editing but for everyday use as well. I packed away my mouse not long after making this switch and I see no reason to go back.

I only wish I would have gotten it sooner. It’s everything I was hoping and more. Having the ability to have key stroke on the quick section and having it wireless has made editing some much faster.

This is a great tool for doing detailed photo editing and the ability to program the tablet for short cuts is a definitely plus. The tablet is well made and once you get beyond the nooks and crannies that come with programming the pen and the tablet, the thing works like a charm. The only nit pick I have is, when hovering over the tablet it’s hard to be accurate when tapping on a target, which may be something to get used to over time. Other than that, I definitely like the tablet and am glad I made the purchase!!

Just switched to this model after using an Intuos 3 for the past 8 years (it still works, but has worn out quite a bit). The hardware is beautiful, the pen works as expected, touch is mostly OK (not always as responsive as expected). But the wireless connection is rather unstable, disconnecting every now and then, the battery level indicator is all over the place, plus the driver doesn’t play that nice with Photoshop CC 2017 (keyboard commands stop working randomly, precise cursors don’t show size when pressing Caps Lock etc.). FYI, I am using the latest driver downloaded from Wacom on an iMac with the MacOS 10.12.2.

I purchased this tablet because my now more than 10 year old model wasn’t working well with my current operating system. I’m glad I did because it works great. The advances that have been made are tangible. Even at the medium size it’s quite large so figuring out the best location can be tricky, but I love the wireless option, even though I typically use it plugged into USB. I would by it again, and the silver makes it that much more stylish with modern equipment. It’s pricey, but there really is no substitute if you’re doing that kind of professional work.

You are probably wondering “if he likes it, why only 4 stars?” The reason for that is the setup process irritated me. Downloading the driver and install didn’t go as smoothly as anticipated. After the initial setup of the device and getting presets in Photoshop done, it is a great tool for photo editing. I still use the mouse and keyboard for (I am left handed) and knowing basic fast keys helps. But the pen strokes and pressure sensitivity give and well blended look without having to change opacity for each movement. The other plus side from B&H is I got a YEAR subscription to Lightroom and photoshop. If that was not enough, they threw in an $80 gift card on top of that! I love this store. The product itself is definitely 5 star, but the initial setup was a pain for me.

I currently own the medium size Wacom tablet and love it! I recently purchased the 16 MacBook Pro and wanted to be able to bring my Wacom tablet with me to do work away from home. I purchased this small Wacom tablet for that exact purpose and it fits perfectly in my case with the MacBook Pro. These two items together are the perfect match for post processing images, drawing and tons of other work you’ll be doing on your laptop. I highly recommend it!!

getting the feel of it takes a week or two-cursing it,after that you will wonder how you did photoshop with out it.I did make the working area of the tablet smaller.

I’ve been a fan of Wacom tablets for as long as I can remember; in fact, when I’m forced to work without one, it feels just wrong. While at PhotoExpo this year, I saw the Intuos Pro and decided to upgrade from my Intuos 4 — primarily because, I was told, the wireless functionality had been deemed ready for prime time. Well, I would beg to differ — which is really my only beef with the great product. I wanted wireless to help declutter by work area — BUT, if you use only a tablet/pen as I do, and not a mouse — you run into a big problem when you restart your computer, because it doesn’t work. (From the manual: When starting up your computer, wait until your operating system has finished start-up, and turn on the wireless module (if not already on) to begin working wirelessly.) So you need a mouse to put in your startup screen password — which defeats the purpose. Other issue: the battery barely makes it a day on a charge — which means you have to constantly plug it back in to recharge. To be fair, had I been aware of this I might not have upgraded my tablet, though the smaller form factor and integration of custom express keys are sweet. So the executive summary: working with a Wacom tablet is awesome, particularly on photographs (or other creative work); the wireless functionality is a nice to have, but to buy it specifically for that.

The Intuos Pro Professional Pen comes as advertised. I did go back and forth with my decision with the medium and the small versions. The small is all you need, plenty of room (actually more than needed) for photography (Photoshop & Lightroom)

Very pleased with this new Pro tablet. It takes up less space on my desk. The blue tooth works good. I like the additional pen sensitivity.

A great high-quality product once you get it installed. It did not auto-install the driver in Win 7 when the USB connector was plugged in as described in the quick menu. I had to manually install the driver using the provided disk. After that minor annoyance, I found it to be a super tool, very programmable/customizable for command menus which greatly reduces the need for keyboard inputs. It is also easily convertible to left-hand use. I’ve used an older Intuos2 in the past, so transitioning to the tablet was not a big issue. I really like the smaller size – it’s very convenient to use in your lap (especially with it’s wireless feature), fits well on the desktop next to keyboard, and requires less hand movement. The wireless feature has worked very well for me and has not presented any problems. It is perfect for Photoshop, Lightroom, CAD work, general-purpose use & web navigation. I rarely use the mouse, although I do sometimes miss the scroll wheel. To say the least, I’m extremely happy with the purchase of this tablet.

I use this for editing my photos in Photoshop. It gives you great control, especially with brush size and flow that you can’t get from a mouse. It does take several edits to get use to it, but it’s well worth it.

It is very useful, I wish there was a user friendly manual, however, there are a lot of useful videos at the Wacom web site, however, I needed to take a lot of notes, a written manual would have saved a lot of time.

I had one of the first generation tablets and loved it for years. I purchased this one because they stopped supporting it with software updates after a decade, but otherwise it was still going strong. This tablet is great with terrific ease of use and updated features for photography. My only complaint is having to pay another $30 for the smooth surface peel on sticker that must be purchased separately. If you don’t buy this, it’s like drawing on a chalk board….ouch! Overall I give this 5 stars and boy does a pen make a difference with things like carpel tunnel or repetitive stress injuries that are commonplace with using a mouse.

Having been a loyal Wacom user for years I was excited for the new Intuos Pro. The tablet comes with a stylus and I purchased a second one. The stylus, unlike to old ones, which were GREAT, the new are now coated in a rubbery material which I finally realized was the reason for a terrible contact allergy. I have no idea how I can continue to use this tablet and hope Wacom will have a solution. So disappointed.

I edit video for a living and spend most of the day clicking away. You might not think of this as the first choice for an interface for video editing. Mice and trackballs give me carpal tunnel syndrome but holding a pen on this tablet does not. A tablet also can be set to map it’s surface directly to the screens I am working on so I can develop muscle memory and work interfaces without even looking at them- the gestural equivalent of touch typing. I would give it 5 stars if the buttons and control ring were in a contrasting color so I could see them easily.
