It was very easy to install but when you plug in the solar panel the ring device asked you if you want to go to wired the answer is no you do not. I changed our mind to wired and then they did not work! Then I had to go back and change them all back to battery-operated

Easy to hook up to our Ring SpotLight Camera. This solar panel and the Spotlight camera use the round plug instead of the micro USB plug the older Ring cameras used. The panel has a long cord which helped with the install. It seems to work best in full bright sunlight. I have never had one of my batteries in my Ring camera/light below 80% with the other 100%!!! I was a bit worried that this bargain would come at a price, but I was wrong! It’s still working GREAT!

I am disappointed in the mount. If the location points South you should be fine but the mount is limited and should have an additional elbow or joint to allow for more difficult installations

So far, so good! We put up the solar panels with our cameras about two weeks ago, and I can see in my ring app that they’re doing their job of keeping the camera batteries charged (and one in a place that doesn’t get that much sun each day). I would not put cameras up without the solar panels. I don’t know yet if they “last”, but glad to have them.
