The 1TB WD_BLACK D50 Game Dock NVMe SSD from WD transforms your laptop into a fully integrated gaming station, clearing the clutter through a single Thunderbolt 3 cable to seamlessly connect your peripherals. It also gives you fast transfer speeds with NVMe technology and more capacity for your games, thanks to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage, read speeds of up to 3000 MB/s, and write speeds of up to 2500 MB/s.
In terms of connectivity, the WD_BLACK D50 is equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which supports up to 87W of passthrough charging, while the other supports a 5K / 60 Hz display or other compatible peripherals. Also available are a DisplayPort 1.4 port, two 10 Gb/s USB Type-C ports, three 10 Gb/s USB Type-A ports, a 3.5mm audio input/output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
Please note that the number of games that can be stored is based on a 36GB average per game. The number of games will vary based on file size, formatting, other programs, and factors.

I don’t have anything wrong to say about the D50. The superfast transfer speed and the RGB features are excellent. Primarily used with my MacBook Pro, the RGB feature is not a big plus, but I can always spin parallels and configure the RGB. Great buy, and I’m glad I did.

Don’t buy this, especially if you’re on mac. Very unreliable, some days it works just fine but other days it disconnects and reconnects constantly and there is no official fix from WD. Buy a different drive instead of wasting a week getting this and then being forced to get a different one
