For some reason this drive will continually fall asleep with in 10 seconds of trying to pull up a file on the computer. Maybe there are settings that I can change to make it work as I feel like it should. I unfortunately cannot recommend due to its constant sleep mode.

Went from using an older 2TB hard drive to this 3TB. I set up and started transferring games between the external drives within minutes. I’ve got 44 games installed on this drive and 1.5TB still remaining. It’s not an SSD, but I’m still rocking an original Xbox One so this is perfect. Planning on upgrading to a new Xbox soon and this will make transferring games easy. Been using Western Digital hard drives for years in various PC builds – never disappointed!

I got this because I needed more space on my original xbox one, it works great no lag at all. Was super easy to install just plug up the cable to the box then to your xbox and done. It makes it super easy to take games with you when you go to friends houses who also have xbox.

I love to play Xbox but I have always had a problem with the amount of storage the games need to play them. This 3TB gives me more than enough room to download all my games and more. Some of my games are almost 100gb and without the extra external storage it would take up almost hard drive. Hooking the external hard drive up was very easy and just needed to be plugged in directly to the Xbox. The Xbox will recognize it and will be ready to move downloads and store them as needed. The hardrive may look small but 3TB is a very large amount of space! This external hard drive is great quality and I’m pleased how easy set up was with it.

I purchased this Harddrive for my PS4 Pro and it works great. I no longer have to worry about game size and can download all the games I want. It’s great for games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare that are well over 100gigs in size. It was easy to setup, just plug in and the PS4 did the rest.

This is a very nice, lightweight, portable hard drive. It doesn’t put off much noise and it holds more than enough games for my Xbox. The size is perfect, it’s easy to transport and doesn’t take up much space at all on my gaming shelf. It seems very durable, though I have been careful to not drop it yet. I decided to bought this after so much of research on the net. It was a confident purchase after watching and reading so many positive reviews about the product. But reality was different, after receiving it was straight connected to my ps4. After I transferred my games to it I started playing COD warzone and games crashed more then 3 times., I thought there is something wrong with game so deleted and downloaded again 100gb game but the same thing happened again and again after sometime my ps4 started to hang as well. I had to manually switch it of and start it again and again. The only mistake I made is that I opened the p10 to check what’s really going on with it out of curiosity and therefore I cannot return it back unfortunately. I hope that it will work fine for others as WD is not famous for making really bad products.

I really like the WD Black P10 for XBOX game drive. Like most gamers, I ran out of space on my console. I hate to delete games to make room for newer games because I don’t want to lose games and I don’t like to go back and download a lot of deleted games because it is time consuming. The 3tb version gives me plenty of extra storage for games. I have cleared off about half of my console and saved 15 additional large games so far and still have plenty of room. The drive is small but hefty and industrial in look and feel. The black metal cover and heavy white casing are quite durable to protect the drive and the bottom has small non-skid pads to keep the drive from sliding and falling. The black and white drive looks really cool and will match whichever XBOX console you have. Other pluses are: the drive is small enough to carry in your hand or pocket to take with you on the go, it works faster than the drive on the console, it runs quietly, it is easy to set up and sets up in seconds, it is a very good price for the amount of storage, and you get XBOX Game Pass free for 2 months. You also get the quality and reliability of Western Digital. I am really happy to have this drive.

I was really excited to get a 7200 RMP drive, but have been totally disappointed with the speeds I’ve gotten-have tried it on a couple different machines with near-identical results. I’m a loyal Western Digital buyer, but my trusty 5400 RPM WD Elements drives do almost double the speed! It’s also noisy-lots of clicking-but that bothers me less and wouldn’t be an issue if this thing were even close to promised specs…

Having owned my Xbox for a little while now, the various game downloads began filling up my storage space and in turn, I saw downloads get a little slower and had to be cautious around updates. This hard drive was easy to plug and play and instantly sped up downloads and increased my storage space. One nice addition is that the package comes with a trial for the game pass.
