Bought this in July 2020 and the drive just failed today. When plugged into my console it makes some noises and then the light goes out and shuts down. Tried to connect to me PC and same thing happens. I don’t hear any fans so maybe the fan went bad.

I purchased it just for the aesthetics, and it does’t disappoint. Although it is bigger than most external hard drives in its class, it’s a price I’m willing to pay for its rugged looks and feel. It’s advertised for gaming, but I use it for backing up photos and videos. Overall would purchase again.

I’ve had the 5TB model for a few months now, and kept it in great condition. Only used it on one Xbox, didn’t take it out very often. And it randomly just quit working on me today (9/29/21). The internals are spinning, the light is on everything appears to be working, but it’s not being recognized by any devices whether they are my Xbox, my girlfriend’s Xbox, either computer etc… it just up and quit working.

works seamlessly on a PS4. upgraded from a 2TB external hard drive that was getting full, transferring via PS4 was simple but took a while. for reference, took anywhere from 40-70 minutes to transfer roughly ~450GB at a time — wasn’t too bad of a trade-off for an extra ~2.6TB.

This is marketed as a gaming drive but you can use this as a regular hard drive for pictures and video. I ran the disk information using Drive DX and ran the model number of the internal drive. It is a WD ultrastar enterprise drive. This is the cream of the crop

I got this for my Xbox. And with all these games becoming larger and larger the storage on your console isn’t enough anymore now a days. You can only hold a few games. But with this yoi Can hold a lot of more games woth out any problem and it’s way faster And it’s shows overall improvement on its preforming I would absolutely recommend this to all my friends give it two thumbs up! 100% recommended

Was so excited to try the Western Digital Black P10 for Xbox. The item is sturdy and you can tell good materials were used to make it. Very easy to use and didn’t take long to set up at all. Im using the 3TB drive and it’s a nice upgrade since games are so heavy these days especially new ones. I currently have close to 20 games transferred into my new drive and there’s still plenty of space. I love the feel and look of it, the design has that gamer look to it. It’s not too loud and I’m pretty excited to not worry about deleting old games to make room for new games anymore. Highly recommended to my fellow gamers.

I got this for my son so he can have more storage for his Xbox one. My boys go through so much storage its crazy. I wanted to get them something that was easy for them to set up and use but held enough. I chose this and my boys couldn’t be happier with it. Its very compacted and light. Very easy to install and set up. They can even use it if they needed on another x box and use it on another if they wanted to but thats if you have more than one or if somthing happens everything’s on this drive. Its very quite with no noise also and it doesn’t get hot like most do. I couldn’t be happier with the WD P10 it was just what my boy needed for his x box one.
