The 1TB SSD has a tendency to disconnect after a few hours requiring computer restart. It does not write consistently above 3000MB/S. It’s only good as an external SSD for data storage. I’ve been using it for 2 years now and I’m highly disappointed. Never gonna take the risk of buying a WD product again. Even my 6 year old Transcend 2.5 SSD has more consistent performance and never once has it automatically disconnected.

This drive is extremely fast! Moved data over at 6Gb/s!!

This is my first m.2 SSD and after having used it for a week or so, I’m very very happy about how well it’s been performing as well as how nice it looks alongside the other internals in my build. Install + config was all easy and straightforward (although I am a technician by trade) and the dashboard software both confirms that things are configured properly, and enables a game mode. I haven’t studied up on what this does so ymmv, but the only place I found to toggle this option is in the wd dashboard software. I will also mention that, at the time of purchase, this was the cheapest retailer for this particular ssd with factory heatsink, and the response time to get it to my door was about 2 days, so that topped the whole experience off quite nicely.

My PC came with a 1TB SATA drive. I installed this SSD and the difference in write and read speed is lightyears apart. GREAT PRODUCT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

SSD was easy to install and very fast (I used for COD warzone and Destiny) I might switch my OS to it later.

Decent performance for the price. On PCIe v4 motherboards it can give a itself slight edge over similar offerings in this range that are PCIe v3 which gives it a bit more value for the dollar.

I bought this for the BMPCC FLIP SCREEN MODIFICATION

I recently purchased this for the new PC desktop running Windows 10 pro at home. It gives additional disk space to the system via pci-e x1 connection. The entire process is plug and play. Best for the price!
Estell Lockman (verified owner) –
Good speed and looks to be good quality as is expected from WD
Sheridan Trantow (verified owner) –
Speeds are as advertised. No stability issues so far on a P52s. Does not include the card screw.

Installed, all runnong great!!!

I am using 1 pc and buy the second one. I have no problem and work perfectly especially with a heat sink. Please make sure your motherboard space for M.2 SSD has enough space to fit this SSD. Asus new motherboard Republic of Game Crosshair VIII has not enough space (Wide) for M.2 with heat sink

Put it in my Intel NUC and boots up quickly. Beats the heck out of a SSD SATA drive.

Very pleased with the performance of this module. Installation was easy and works flawlessly, as expected. Great choice. Thanks.

It came all the way to Per in nine days. It is already installed and working very well. Booting and SO ready in about 10 seconds.

Works great and was an amazing purchase at the price I got it for. Bought it to replace a lower-end Intel drive that came with my laptop and I really like how it performs.
