This is the second WD Black series I have purchased. The performance of the drive is extremely good. The drive does not produce an extreme amount of heat. Of course if you tax your system and drive the fans will speed up. Am using this in a 2015 MacBook Pro 15 with an adapter and so far I have zero issues with the drive.

I have built 3 custom PCs for media creation, photography, video editing, 3D renderings and more and all of them are loaded with at least 1 M.2 hard drive. They are incredibly fast and extremely easy to install onto your MB (no wires at all). Its just a plug and go technique which makes it very desirable above a 2.5/3.5 drive (though they have their place as well) As with all technology m.2 are advancing quickly, its affordable to get a 1-2TB and as time goes on that size will increase and the price decrease.

Amazing and the built in heat sink adds exceptional long duration performance. 10/10 highly recommend.

Installed this in a Dell SFF Optiplex 5040. Installation was a breeze. No issues at all with the drive.

Works great and was an amazing purchase at the price I got it for. Bought it to replace a lower-end Intel drive that came with my laptop and I really like how it performs.

I purchased two of these for the Tilta screen modification kit that supplies an NVME USB drive enclosure. One from Newegg since BH was out of stock. With new drives, I record on them at the maximum data rate the drive can handle until it’s full. I previously tested the Intel 660P which couldn’t sustain more than 12:1 at 60P and by the end of the record time of 5hrs at 24fps, was literally too hot to handle. To my surprise, both SN750s recorded BRAW 3:1 at 60fps until full and were warm at the end of the recording. I don’t know if it has to do with a sustained data rate vs burst. The 660P has a write speed of 1800MB/sec. Quite a bit higher than the 500MB/s write speed of the Samsung 500GB T5, and yet my T5s can record 3:1 BRAW at 60fps without issue. The SN750s are still yet quite a bit faster than both at 3000MB/s write speed, and apparently have no issue with any compression or bitrate of the BMPCC4K.

My PC came with a 1TB SATA drive. I installed this SSD and the difference in write and read speed is lightyears apart. GREAT PRODUCT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Have purchased several variants of this drive (2 512GB and 1 1TB) – all have fast performance while being only slight more expensive than budget/mainstream SSDs. Excellent choice for PCIe 3.0 SSDs.
