very goood

Chose this drive due to already being a repeat WD customer with currently a Blue ssd and Red hdd’s. This SN750 has basically equal read speed to the competition and better write speed, along with being cheaper. Now that Samsung drives are no longer the value they used to be, I would recommend this.

Wicked fast and reliable. I added two to a STRIX Z-490-E MoBo, love’em.

Black is better than blue and now its as expensive. I have it as my primary drive and very satisfied.

If you like computers booting instantly and do not like to wait around for games/applications to load then upgrade to this M2 drive now!

My original 256GB OEM Toshiba ssd only had about 30% life expectancy left. I didn’t want to deal with potential data loss, so I just decided to upgrade. I couldn’t find any information on whether this was compatible or not with my computer. Dell says it is compatible with nvme drives up to 500GB, but I’ve seen reviews that say that’s only because Dell hasn’t tested larger drives with this laptop. I decided to take a chance because I wanted a 1TB drive (more storage, faster speed, and greater durability) and I’m glad I did. I ended up getting a great price during a Father’s Day promo, just received it today, cloned my old drive to it via Macrium Reflect and the SSK NVME Enclosure, and it just works! I’m even getting the advertised speeds (tested with Crystal Disk Mark). I did have one issue where there was unallocated space left over after the cloning was finished. I ended up using Mini Tool Partition Wizard to fix this by moving a partition (blocking the unallocated space from the C drive) by first moving the offending partition to the end of the unallocated space, and then I was able to add the rest of the unallocated space to the C drive. Worked perfectly and the drive is running nice and cool at 25C. Can’t really ask for a smoother upgrade!

Installation and init was fine, but my PC would not boot from cloned image. Image cloned using Acronis

I am very satisfied with the WD 1TB Black NNMe M.2. it is reasonably priced, and has increased the performance of my son’s gaming PC noticably. I was a bit anxious about installation and migration of the operating system and data but it was very easy with the free cloning tool available from WD.

Super fast I installed in my hp laptop workstation with intel xeon and nvidia Quadro.
Norval Breitenberg (verified owner) –
This was very easy to install, and has been preforming well. WD Black has a reputation for reliability, but that will take some time to determine.

Bought a 2TB SSD for file storage. For the system I use SSD SN850 with a capacity of 1 TB.

The 1TB version without the heatsink is a much better value, but this drive is just as fast and the heatsink looks amazing. Perfect for a boot drive plus one or two of my most played games.

WD 2TB Black SN750 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD with Heatsink is easy to installed on my full size ATX – X99X mobo, provided one of my own screw (laptop hdd/ssd type) to hold the SN750 drive in place, installed the free cloning WD Acronis true image software to the old SSD drive then used it to clone the previous OS from that drive to this new SN750 without a pain, set the boot priority on the motherboard CMOS setup drives to this new SN750 and it booted right up just fine. Applications and Games are running smoother compared to 2.5 SSD, I am happy with my purchased, got a great deal during Black Friday, and Thanks B&H for great service since 1989. Would recommended B&H and WD SN750.

Looks pretty cool, and it probably is with the heatsink, but it will NOT fit a Synology E10M20-T1 M.2. Note it’s a 2280 size, but not really! It is wider than the non-heatsink version. …is the unused/never-used SN750 returnable after opened?

If it’s possible for a drive to be TOO fast… My new W10 system boots in about 10 seconds. Nothing more to say. :-))))))))
