Pros: Very fast drive. Windows 10 now boots in 15 seconds. Great for games with long load times. Significantly reduced my load times for big sim games like total war! Cons: The Western digital software for the drive is a little wonky but other than that haven’t really run into any. Overall Review: So far I’ve had it in my MSI B350M bazooka Motherboard for 2 weeks and have been very pleased. Did a bios update before I did the install and had no compatibility issues. Installed my Windows 10 on it no problems. Boot time is now 15 seconds! I was having incredibly long load times playing Total War Warhammer II on my HDD. Installed it on this SSD and totally fixed that issue! So far so very pleased and will continue to be as long as it lasts…

This NVME SSD was on special at the time I purchased it(about $70 off) and I jumped at the chance to order from Australia as it was a bargain and cheaper than I could buy here at the time. I have about 14 hard drives on my desktop(4 internal) and 10 external and most of them are WD drives which have exceptional reliability. This is no exception and outshines the competition. Lightroom loads so fast and it is a joy to be able to load, view and process photos so much quicker!

The wd 500gb nvme m.2 was an easy decision, but not only did it arrive as it was described brand new in box. Somehow it was delivered early when I say early I mean the day BEFORE it was even suppose to arrive at my doorstep! Installed it in a Mac Pro 2013, requires a Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter card. Once installed, operates as expected. Read/write performance is about double the original Apple SSD, but will not be as fast as the claimed read/write of the WD due to slower bus in the Mac Pro 2013. Very satisfied.
