Pros:Portable, battery operated, comes with a variety of attachmentsCons:Light duty, does not come with batteriesThis is a portable, light duty rotary tool that is ideal for small projects. The tools will cut plastic, wood, and some metal. Don’t expect this tool to perform the functions of a heavy duty machine. The tool requires four AAA batteries that are not included. At this point I cannot say how long the unit will run on a set of batteries (some users report about 20 minutes depending on the load). For small projects, however, a set of batteries should do just fine. Dremel accessories and bits will fit this tool. Other users report potential problems with the collet–so keep this in mind.Overall a nice little addition to the home tool box.

This is a very handy little tool. The 4 AA batteries supply plenty of long lasting power, and while it came with only a minimum of accessories, Wen has a very reasonably priced 320 piece rotary tool accessory kit available at Home Depot that will handle all of the cutting, grinding, and sanding I ever need to do. In the past I have had to use my corded hand drill when I wanted to do this type of work, so using this perfectly sized cordless rotary Wen is so much easier to handle while working on small projects. I was very pleased to see this tool was the Wen brand since I have a Wen reciprocating saw, model #909, that my Father purchased more than 47 years ago. I still use it quite often, and it still runs perfectly.

This small hand tool is a must for everyone that does any kind of work that requires a fine finishing touch. The 2 speeds are a must when doing the small work for this grinder. The selection of bits that come with the grinder are few so I would recommend that you obtain more bits. For a beginner I would say that the bits are adequate. For more intense work more bits. I have already used the grinder on my boat to put a GPS/Fishfinder/Sonar coax cable thru the hull. It worked so good and I was shocked at the quality of the work that it did. This is a great tool for those that do model RailRoading or building models or any hobby that requires building or shaping. I like that it is light weight and easy to hold in one hand. The batteries that run it seem to last a good length of time.

Easy to assemble but it’s not as powerful as I thought it would be. I use it to file my acrylic nails down.

This rotary was chosen to replace an electric Dremel tool. The electric/plug in the electric Dremel is so very cumbersome. This cordless rotary tool is easy to maneuver without working around a cord and it is compatible with most Dremel accessories. It uses 4 AA batteries and has a 2-speed operation. It comes with 2 sanding pads, 2 grinding stones, 2 diamond-coated bits, a collet (1/8), a sanding drum mandrel, a nylon wire brush, a HSS cutter, and a 2-in-1 wrench. Overall an excellent purchase for the money.

This 2-Speed Cordless Rotary Tool Kit with 10-Piece Accessory Set from Wen is a very handy tool. It does not have the power of a corded rotary tool, but that’s ok. It is great for small, quick jobs where you just want to grab it and get it done without dragging out a corded one. This tool would be great for shaping and trimming nails. Especially for someone who might have thick nails that are hard to cut.
