The motor unit worked very well, but the flex shaft did not run true when tools were inserted. The company replaced the flex shaft and the replacement had the same wobble when bits were inserted. The flex shaft was essential for my projects so I had to return the unit for a refund.

Just getting started with this type of tool. This one seems adequate to my task. The flex shaft was a bit ticklish to install; but by carefully re-reading the instructions I was able to correctly install it.The flex-shaft feature was why I bought this model. I need to work on a small object that’s fixed inside a container. That is working smoothly in tests, so far. In this config seems best to hang it by it’s included bail. see pic

It works fine, great compared to its price. Although it does vibrate quite a lot the flex shaft is fine and can accomplish the smallest of tasks. The sanding bits wear out fast bit what are you gonna do…
