I love my Wen! This kit came with great accessories and I’m using it to carve celtic knots into the front of an old cabinet. I like the comfort and ease of using this tool. Would definitely recommend it.

The unit has good power to use on hardwoods. Gave the 3 stars instead of 5 due to the flex shaft running on and off. The flex shaft was pretty much intermittent and basically useless. and the cutters wear out in a short time.If the flex worked as it should and better cutters were in the kit it would have received 5 stars.

This Multi-tool is about as handy as anything in my shop. I have ground metal, cut small metal and used it to clean metal. I used it to carve out a letter on a piece of plywood, sign my name on a cutting board I made. The best job so far was sharpening my grandpa’s old pocket knife, then polishing it with the polishing tip. Variable speeds are nice. The LED collar was nice for engraving. Easy to change tips. The variety of tools in the accessory case let you do several jobs. Nice.

Pretty much as advertised, it’s a great little tool so far. The only issue I had, once I got it figured out, was that the collets on the tool and extension were reversed (apparently it does make a difference) once I got them where they needed to be I noticed I couldn’t get the larger bits in the collet on the extension. Luckily I had a dremel tool to fix that with!

Great value, works well, canvas case is rugged and compact, lots of useful accessories. Nice little plastic case for small accessories. Flex shaft easy to use, works fine, and has a reasonable bending radius (5″ rec. if I recall correctly) Carbide bits seem to hold up well enough on glass — all I’ve used so far (had it for just a few weeks now). Only nit picking I can think of is that the plastic case is a little awkward for the sanding rolls, and it only holds 95% of the stuff that comes with it, you need someplace else to keep the 3 or 4 other bits and tools — but the canvas case provides for that, and as far as I’m concerned the cases are basically a bonus anyway.
