Compatible with the WEN 10-Foot Dust Hose (model 28200) and the WEN 20-Foot Dust Hose (model 28221). It works great for dust and sawdust but not as well for my planer. I did not anticipate a problem with the dust collector not handling the bigger wood chips from the planer and I don’t recall a disclaimer in the literature. Now it suggests I go out and add a “separator” which is quite costly. I might be better off with my shop vac.

Well packed, functions as per specs. Really a value for the money. Using for my downdraft table so not moving large volumes of sawdust. Works as expected keeping the sanding dust to a bare minimum. Venting directly out a wall so it helps not having the bag to restrict air flow. Would purchase again.

This dust collector works fine when cross cutting lumber. However, when ripping ,, it clogs up at the blower. The screen will not let the ripped shavings thru.

This extractor is a true DUST extractor. If anything bigger is sucked into the machine, it clogs the 4″ intake hole on extractor. U will constantly be taking off the hose to unclog.It is GREAT hooked to a sander…since it only sucks dust and nothing else. I hooked to a miter saw and the clogging started.

I’ve been wanting a dust collector for some time now, but the big ones that the professionals use are too much for my wallet. I decided to try this one as a tool that is effective, and cost effective. setup/install is very easy, just attaching the wheel base and the bag. I wish this came with a hose to attach to my tools, but I had to pick one up from Home Depot separately. Overall I’m happy with the amount of suction I get from this unit. It has worked well with my compound miter saw, table saw, sander, and jigsaw. It doesn’t completely remove all sawdust, but it is a lot better than using a shop vac like I used to do.

The dust collector is easily operated but I was disappointed with the noise level. It should have a squirrel cage type impeller instead of the paddle shaped fan blades. Otherwise I use ear protection with any high speed tools when wood working so that covers the problem. So so…
