This air filtration system works very well. In my case, I purchased it instead of a dust collector. The Wen system filters out the very fine particles in the air not collected otherwise. You can hang the unit as suggested or in my small workshop, I chose to place the unit on top of a tall cabinet close to the ceiling. Instead of replacing the expensive outer filter, just vacuum it out every few days. It is simple to accomplish the task. The handy remote works well from a distance and the Wen unit is quiet and has three speeds. I am very pleased with my purchase, and my lungs agree.

I have had this Air Filtration System for about a month now, and it’s been very helpful with keeping my work space clean and free of small dust particles. You have to remember this is not a dust collection like a shop vac or duct collection system but an Air Filtration. It’s not very load so you can talk or carry a conversation while it’s running. Overall, very satisfied this far!

October 2020 – I’ve been looking for an Air Filtration System for my workshop. My wood lathe kicks up a LOT of dust and I needed it badly. I checked all the other manufactures and their specifications and settled on the WEN. The unit has a remote control to turn it on/off, change the fan speed and set it to shut off after so many minutes. I was able to install it myself but only because I used two ladders and set the WEN straddling on top of both of them. I would recommend two people but the unit is not that heavy and I was able to get it high enough and hooked up. I still need to attach the electrical connection to the ceiling.Assembly was very easy and contained all the parts. I can tell the difference when I turn it on and it has definitely reduced the amount of fine dust I used to find on my table saw and other parts of my workshop. I’ve had it about a month and can already tell the outer filter will need replacing in a couple of weeks (heavy use of my wood lathe turning Christmas gifts). The inner filter can be sprayed/dried and reused. The outer filer is a common size found in big box stores for less than $20.I’m happy with it and would recommend this unit.

Perfect for my small woodworking shop. This unit is smaller than many competitors, but even so it pushes enough CFM to adequately clean the wood dust from the air. It’s smaller format makes it not ideal for larger shops, but for my needs this fit perfectly. It’s timer feature is really handy as well. Very pleased with this!
