Nice quiet fan to filter out fine dust from my shop. I have an 8′ square spray booth with filter, but it isn’t big enough for stuff that’s over about 7′ (or else I can’t get around it in the booth). This beauty filters out the fine dust around the area I pant my larger projects, and it made all the difference. Before I installed this, painted stuff resembled sandpaper when it was dry – easy to remove the nubs, but still knew I needed something. Afterwards, the paint comes out glass smooth. I wish it were just a tad bigger, moving a bit more air, but given the price, a second one wouldn’t break the bank! If I had one thing I would change is, since this is on a switched circuit, that the setting I had it on remained set when I switched the power back on. Instead I have to turn it on separately (where the remote is real handy).

I bought two of these for my garage. I have a dust collection system but this takes all of the fine saw dust out of the air. I have notice a big difference with the lack of all the fine dust all over my tools.

The Wen filtration system has been a welcome addition to my shop. I have a small, 10 x 12 workshop, and trying to work in it during the cold weather produces a challenge in breathing clean air. I ordered this unit and it was mostly ready to install right out of the box. The only thing necessary was to install the 4 eye bolts and then mount it to the rafters. The unit runs quiet enough that I can hear my radio when it’s running, even on high, and it cleans up the air like a champ. Also, the option to set the timer to run after you close down is a big plus. Between the Wen and my dust collecting Shop-Vac, I can now work without my mask. The size is a bit bulky, so be careful if you’re planning to mount it yourself. I highly recommend this unit to anyone working in a closed door shop.
