The air filtration system works quite well in my garage. I use it whenever I am working there. It is slightly louder than I expected, that is why I gave it four stars. I wear headphones when I’m using it. If you are installing this by yourself to the ceiling, you need to watch YouTube videos about installing these units using a chain technique. I did and it work perfectly. I would recommend this unit for a three car garage with a ten foot ceiling.

I’d say this unit pretty quiet for what it does. Hanging from my 10″ tall rafters, I don’t really hear it above the radio or other power tools. Cleans out the air quick in my 24’x28′ shop. Love the remote and timer option. Really excited that the unit comes with hanging materials, save a bunch of hassle trying to figure out how to hang it.

It may be too soon to tell how effective the filter is at turning air and clearing fine dust, BUT, I can say that it’s nice and quiet when operating, seems to move a good volume of air and is very convenient with delay timer when working. I hope it catches all the fine dust from woodworking
