The WEN Air Filtration System collects and releases the air in your workshop after filtering it through both a 5-micron outer filter and a 1-micron inner filter. Easily switch between 3 speeds of 556, 702 and 1044 CFM depending on what your situation calls for. With the self-automated timer, you don’t even have to worry about turning off your machine. This air filtration system works very well. In my case, I purchased it instead of a dust collector. The Wen system filters out the very fine particles in the air not collected otherwise. You can hang the unit as suggested or in my small workshop, I chose to place the unit on top of a tall cabinet close to the ceiling. Instead of replacing the expensive outer filter, just vacuum it out every few days. It is simple to accomplish the task. The handy remote works well from a distance and the Wen unit is quiet and has three speeds. I am very pleased with my purchase, and my lungs agree.

I’d say this unit pretty quiet for what it does. Hanging from my 10″ tall rafters, I don’t really hear it above the radio or other power tools. Cleans out the air quick in my 24’x28′ shop. Love the remote and timer option. Really excited that the unit comes with hanging materials, save a bunch of hassle trying to figure out how to hang it.

This Wen Air Filtration System works great. My working area of my shop is 14’x14′. When I turn it on I hardly hear it runnig. I Like that I can leave on after I leave the shop area, set the timer, and next time I come back to the shop and the wading dust is gone. Your still going to have some dust that lands around. But I have a work zone that wading dust free. Saves on filters by vacuuming out the filter or blowing them out out side. I use my shop several times a week and only had to replace the outer filter three times in over 2yrs. The inner filter is still the original filter.
