Remember when your workshop was full of clean air. Air-borne dust particulates can dirty up a woodworking space and harm a healthy respiratory system, but with the WEN 3-Speed Remote-Controlled Air Filtration System, you no longer need to worry. This system eradicates these contaminants by catching them in 1 of the 2 easily replaced filters while circulating the air in your work area. The powerful 3 Amp motor leaves no stone unturned, collecting every contaminant in its path. The quiet system creates 63 dB to 68 dB of noise and is controllable up to 26 ft. away with the included R.F. remote. The included eyebolts make for easy mounting and installation in a variety of wood shops. The WEN Air Filtration System collects and releases the air in your workshop after filtering it through both a 5-micron outer filter and a 1-micron inner filter. Easily switch between 3 speeds of 556, 702 and 1044 CFM depending on what your situation calls for. With the self-automated timer, you dont even have to worry about turning off your machine. Simply set the timer to automatically turn the machine off after a certain number of minutes, allowing you to easily give your workshop a thorough cleanse at the end of the day. And because this is a WEN Product, your 3-Speed Remote-Controlled Air Filtration System comes backed by a 2-year warranty, a helpful customer service support line, and a stocked inventory of replacement parts.

As many have probably said before, it seems like all of these systems are made in the same place and are of the same quality; so you might as well get a cheaper WEN than a name brand. I got the big one, which is overkill for what I’m doing and where I’m doing it but I’d rather it be too powerful than not too powerful enough. I think its plenty quiet on the lowest setting. For some reason, Home Depot had the cheapest price for the unit (by far) as well. No complaints here.

Easy to install and easy to operate with the remote control, does an excellent job filtering the fine dust in my shop.

Arrived earlier than expected. The unit is large, but no problem with delivery. It is very quiet and does not transmit vibration to the floor boards it is mounted to. I installed it by myself using a rope hoist on one side and then just hooked 4 chains from the unit to eyebolts in the floor joists above. Love the remote and the timer. I run the unit while creating fine dust in the shop using a CNC mill to cut 3D wood pieces and then set the timer for 4 more hours after I stop. Too soon to tell how much it will reduce the fine dust that settles all over the shop, time will tell. I noticed a professional shop on television was using a similar unit, giving me confidence it will work.

First one purchased only functioned on one speed. Home Depot was easy to work with on a replacement. Second one works well. Moves lots of air and makes a big difference in the amount of sawdust that drifts around and from the workshop. Filter change is easy, though replacements are expensive.

This air filtration system is the best I have found for the money. I received the item ahead of schedule and it arrived undamaged. Wen makes good products for the price; I have a few of their products. They are not the top tool in each class but are often listed as the best bang for your buck.

The WEN 3417 with RF remote control works excellent in my 1200 square foot woodworking shop. You can order unit with either IF or RF remote (same cost). RF is better choice. Arrived slightly dented and the filter clips on the unit are cheap and flimsy. Still a great Filtration System.

So far so good. Needed help hanging this on the ceiling of my garage but has performed excellently

I purchased this Wen filtration system for the garage, as it houses a split dog kennel. Due to the nature of where I live, a lot of dust and sand collect in the garage, and for the health of everyone and the animals, I decided that we needed some kind of filtration system. I purchased this air filtration system due to the lower cost of purchase, knowing that I was going to perform a timer modification to it. I removed the controller board, and installed a 24hr. timer module in place of the control board and remote. Now it cycles on for 3hrs, and then off for 3hrs. This allows it to run automatically, constantly filtering the air to keep the sand and dust down. So far it is working as I expected, and replaced my homemade loud unit I built from an old window air conditioner.

Installed in a 12×20 sq ft shop. The huge improvement can be found in the filters (and my lungs).

Works great. Really pulls dust out of the air in my wood shop.

It works great. The price was reasonable compared to the others. No complaints. 5 stars

Very well made, and seems very sturdy. The fan is very powerful, and remarkably quiet, given the higher CFM ratings. It would be ice if they would include the appropriate chain and lag bolts/hooks that would be used to hang from the ceiling when attaching to wood joists. The remote works perfectly, and comes with batteries. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their shop air.

Does as expected, not nearly the dust in garage as before. Before could feel in lungs when went out to husband’s shop hard to breathe. Now with the filtration system not noticeable.

Works really well for the price point. I leave it on after working in shop and have clean air in about 90 minutes. Keeps dust out of house.

It works well but get the second person to help you if you’re going to hang it from the ceiling. It’s heavy and big.
Zena Boyle (verified owner) –
Unlike the photo it doesn’t come with eyelet, it comes with HOOKS that are about 1/4 opened. This thing is heavy and I don’t want ANY risk of it falling down. They should not be including these hooks if it were to be knocked it would fall down on your head. Now it’s an M6 hook which is actually fairly difficult to find the proper ones around here.

Seems to be doing the job very well, installed in workshop area to alleviate dust from woodworking. Easy to mount, although heavy.
