I purchased the Wen wood lathe to make small wooden hammers and gavels and it meets my expectations. The features I like is the small portable size and weight so I can set it up on the bench and when I’m done using it I can store it away. So far I have no dislikes about it. It performs all the tasks I wanted in a small lathe. I’ve had it for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Great small lathe for the money. Been using it for a month with no issues. Accepts standard accessories. The cast iron base is heavy enough that I haven’t needed to bolt it to my workbench yet.

Lasted for about a week and then what ever drives the main piece started to slip. Motor will turn and make noise but you can put pressure to any wood mounted on the lathe or it just stops.
