Everything was good about this tool for it’s size and purpose with one exception which I believe should be corrected. The safe button which must be pushed to engage the motor is in an awkward position which requires a difficult hand position to maintain throughout the cut. I have 50 years experience with power tools. This ergonomic problem should be redesigned.

I burnt up a similar saw, through heavy use. A Rockwell model. I purchased this model because of the case. So, I may treat this one nicer. My only problem with this unit is the plastic blade guard. I’m a cabinetmaker, and these saws are perfect for installations. So far, so good.

No assembly required and much easier to use that a full size (7-1/2″) circular saw. I’ve had it about one month and used it for the first time two days ago, it was spectacular. I like the portability of it and the ease of handling. I do wish it came with more than (1) blade (3) would be a good number as others I considered for purchase came with (3), other than that, I am delighted with my purchase.

This compact saw has plenty of power and features. It is a hefty little unit which does a fine job of cutting both straight and bevel cuts. The handle is comfortable, the viewing is excellent and along with the attached LED light I achieved accurate cuts. All the adjustments are easy to access and adjust. without any tools however the fence needs to be attached using the separate tool, which stores in the included case.

I received the 5 AMP 4-1/2. BEVELING COMPACT CIRCULAR SAW WITH LASER AND CARRYING CASE a couple of weeks ago. This WEN product I have used two times already, one to cut up some small branches that fell down in one our storms we have, powerful little circular saw. Another thing I like about this saw is it comes with a heavy duty carrying case, such a good carrying case my son in law as already carried it to place for a couple of days. I would recommend this product.

Purchased this saw based on the reviews and the price. Used it yesterday for the first time. It saws really great, the laser is a huge plus. However, if you have small hands like me, then you may want to go see it in person before ordering. The grip is a little large for my hands, which makes it difficult to hold.

5 AMP 4 1/2” BEVELING COMPACT CIRCULAR SAWWITH LASER AND CASE I am so thrilled to have this Wen 4 1/2” circular saw. It is really a nice product. It’s a perfect weight and size. It weight about 5.1 pounds. It has a 5 amp motor spinning the blade at 3500 RPM. I like being able to bevel the base plate for 45 angle cut. This saw also comes with accessories. It has a 24-tooth carbide-tipped wood cutting blade, a dust extraction tube, and it has a very nice blow-mold carrying case. This is a heavy duty case. The Wen Beveling Compact Circular Saw is not only a great size and so easy to handle, it will also cut wood, tile, drywall, sheet metal, ceramic and PVC, pipe. I would definitely recommend this Wen Circular Saw. The maximum cutting depth 90 degrees is 1 11/16, the product depth is 16.2,” width 4.3,” amperage is 5A. The blade diameter is 4 1/2” and it has a 6 foot cord. I took several pictures and also have a video. Hope you enjoy.
