Love this circular saw. It only goes up to an inch deep, but that is all I need for most projects where I would use this hand tool. It beats sawing by hand! I like everything from the long cord to the grip. The safety features assure me that I won’t cut off my fingers! I like the petite quality to it and the carrying case is a huge plus! When done with a project, just pack it up and it goes nicely on a shelf. It has a 2 year warranty, and comes with a metal cutting blade, a wood blade and a tile blade. Also, in the box is a dust collector tube. I did my project outside and did not need this, but it was cool to see it work. Sure made clean up a breeze.

I do a lot of detail work so I was excited to get this tool in my shop. Overall I am very pleased to have this. It is very powerful for it’s size. I can cut furniture grade plywood like a hot knife through butter and I did a plunge cut into teak and it is competent but I did take care. I really like how easy it is to set the depth of cut. Flip up the yellow clip and set it. When you use the tool it goes to that point and it is an accurate cut. Particularly if you are cutting to depth instead of cutting to divide (cutting to depth like creating a rabbet joint for example).I was not very hopeful for the dust collector. While I liked the connector, the hose struck me as a bit small. I had to add a bit of duct tape to the plug to make it bigger so it would seal in my shop vac hose. I used it with and with out the dust collector. The dust collector works and it is essential if you want to limit wood dust or even worse, ceramic dust. And I don’t trust the chemicals they use in composite flooring made overseas floating in the air. Sure even when the dust collector is on and running, there is some dust on the tool, particularly the shoe. Run it without dust collection and you have a heck of a mess and a lot more fine particulate in the air.The wood cuts are very clean – minimal to no splintering and very clean edges. Nothing to sand before glue and nails. Ceramics are much more variable. Some materials like slate are always challenging. A good ceramic is okay. Some pottery tiles can either cut easy or break like glass. Depends on the materials and the firing. My only complaint is the controls to start it up and release the blade through the shoe. One pulls back and one pushes forward. It takes a bit to master but once I did, it is fine. Pros: Powerful for it’s sizeGood Blades shipped with the unitI love the depth set clip. Due to its compact size I’m able to get into tight spaces where my larger wood cutting tools cannot. I recently used it to cut holes in sheetrock to install electrical boxes. Using the dust extraction tube I was able to keep the dust level to a minimum. The 4.2 Amp motor provides maximum torque, spinning the 3-3/8 in. blade up to 4500 RPM. It can cut boards up to 1 in. in thickness. The easy-to-use trigger features a slot for your finger, allowing the saw to automatically engage as you push forward which is a great safety feature. Release the switch and the blade is retracted preventing it from cutting anything. Adjust the depth stop to your desired cutting depth for the perfect plunge cut in even the hardest of woods. The saw comes packed with accessories, including an HSS metal-cutting blade, a diamond-coated tile-cutting blade, a carbide-tipped wood cutting blade, a 4.75 in. rip fence, an 80 in. dust extraction tube and a convenient carrying case. There is also is a laser located on top of the saw to indicate the line of your cut.

Easy to use and did what I needed. Had to cut our section of subfloor from underneath. There was a pipe in the way so a larger circular saw will not fit. This did the job and cut quickly. Used it to cut the new plywood subfloor pieces too.
