I was surprised that the saw came near fully assembled, with the blade on and tensioned. I only had to put on the table. While not super powerful, it cuts well and is quiet. Definitely pay the little extra from the lesser model to have the drop down guide with rollers to stop blade twist.

For a table model at this price point it was very good. The other reviews that gave poor ratings for ability to cut straight lines were most likely from users not accustomed to using a band saw. Over 50 years of bandsaw use none cut straight without a lot of guidance from the user.

I have never used a bandsaw before this and I have used this one only a few times. I really like it and am not disappointed in the purchase at all. I do think, however, that if it came with a 1/4″ blade instead of the 3/8″ blade it would make more cuts for the DYIer.

When I got my bandsaw I put the table on it and turned it on. The blade would not turn. It was rubbing on a bracket. The instructions on how to adjust the blade weren’t the best. After several tries I got the blade to turn but it was still rubbing. I pried the bracket to bend it away from the blade a little bit and that worked. It seems to work fine now but it shouldn’t come like that!

A good little bandsaw for the price. Am using a 1/4” blade and able to cut small 2” diameter blanks. Just don’t be in a hurry and do attach a vacuum.

I don’t like the rubber feet that came with it. It is light and easy to move but needs to be bolted down for safe and steady use. I’m going to have to buy or make a table to mount it to, therefore the ease of moving and storing will be less convenient.
