The 2.5 Amp motor rotates the included 1/4 in. blade at up to 2500 ft. per minute. The design of this saw uses 59-1/2 in. blades anywhere from 1/8 to 3/8 in. in width for both intricate and powerful cuts. The spacious work table measures in at 12-1/4 x 11-7/8 in. in size and can be beveled up to 45°. This package includes a miter gauge, an onboard 2-1/2 in. dust port, a fence for creating straight cuts, and an adjustable blade guard. For a low priced bench band saw this is very capable and easy to use. It does need some setting up. Adjusting the guides however is a pia. So that does take time to get them set correctly. One complaint I had was the work table. The plastic piece that is the plug around the blade had to be filed down to make it level with the table so that it will allow the wood to pass over it without catching the wood. Also the table is rough, so I sprayed it some Teflon and that helps. Another thing, it was about 45 degrees in my work shed yesterday when I started to cut some oak into small chunks for my big green egg and the motor would not turn at all. I had to turn it off, opened the top door and spun the wheel as I turned the power back on and that made the motor run. Lack of power in this motor! Not very promising. Still I think this saw will be capable of taking care of what I need it for.

I have wanted to get a band saw for a very long time. This fit in exactly with what I was looking for. It is not too heavy to move around. The one I received, only had the table to put on the machine. The table once in place was right on. The blade came centered top and bottom. I was working in less than 20 minutes. The instructions are clear if you take your time and look at the diagrams. I have worked with very large band saws and I am aware of maintenance and care. This machine is very quiet. The only thing I will need is an assortment of blades and a little warmth in the shop. This would also make a great machine for younger woodworkers to try out and learn.

A good homeowner bandsaw. Only complaint is the metal base on mine is uneven and therefore the entire saw wobbles. I should be able to fix this once I mount it to a sturdy stand.

Really good product for the price. Quality control was excellent. Still have to square up the table. Found a nice magnetic base LED ” sewing machine lamp” on line cheap. Cut some 3/4 inch pine like butter. Home Depot should have this and other Wen products in store. Required very little tweaking out of box. Came with a 6 tooth per inch blade installed. Just had to adjust tracking a little to get rid of metal rubbing noise.

I had gift cards from the my kids witch for whatever reason, I could only use in the store. So the day after the order I checked the tracking number were it says you can.Well that’s not true …It Only showes the same thing that is on the order form same thing. So there is no way to check the order is done wright or whether it’s even on the way. Lastly it took a wapping 7Days what is that abought.Through wen would have been next day.Also maney others.
