After unpacking the saw I noticed that the cutting depth did not meet my requirements. The spec given on the box where misleading.

A Band Saw for the simple DIYer. This came 99% assembled. It was pretty accurate out of the box, but can be easily adjusted to align perfectly. The detailed instructions are all you need. I cut some wood to build out some kitchen drawers. It was much quicker than using my handsaw! The quality on this is much better than competing brands. Everyone that has seen it at our house it totally jealous. It is a must-have for anyone that does home projects! I will be purchasing the dust collection attachment to help keep the garage clean.

the saw is just what I expected and has made my work much easier. what didn’ t help was the home depot store on 2221 north post road indianapolis , in lost track of the saw for two weeks. and it sat in the store waiting for some one to find it.while i had to wait. very unhappy with the way home depot handed this situation.

I’m very pleased using my Wen 9 inch bandsaw model 3959 right out of the box. I’ve ripped and crosscut, oak, pine and plywood with no problems. The blade that comes with it Is great for that. It’s a little large for cutting tight curves. I plan on buying narrow blades as needed.

Good power for a small band saw. Cut through 1″ board with ease. Fits easily on a work bench. Packaging was good. Arrived at home with some damage to box but no damage to equipment. Nice 1/4 turn knobs to open unit to get to internals. Supplied fence has a tight fit & holds it’s position. The miter gauge has a slight wobble (1-2 degrees) but still works well. Instructions are full size and contains an exploded view for ordering parts. Saw table held in place by two knobs and holds it’s position. Good for the DIY’er.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this bandsaw and how handy it is to have. Haven’t had it long but I’m so glad I invested in it. So handy for quick cuts, scrolling, notching and trimming wood. It has saved a ton of time and is fun to work with. Clean cuts, smooth and quiet. Great buy!

Overall, I am pleased with this saw. Opened the package, inspected all the contents for possible damage; everything looked good. Assembled the band saw per the instructions; no issues. Using the manual, ensured table, blade and tension were set correctly. Everything looked good from the factory; nothing required any adjustment. Performed a test cut on piece of 1/4″ pine – everything worked. Next did some cuts on a cedar 2×4 that was handy. Did some cross cuts and rips about 8″ length wise. Also performed some curved cuts in the cedar and some pine. Don’t have any hard wood on hand at this time. Looking forward to using on some projects. Going to mount it on a plywood base so it can be clamped to my workbench for extra stability during use. Hooks right up to my shop vac for dust control.

I bought this band saw to cut some wood pieces when they needed cut. I was amazed on the noise this makes. It might be noisey but not loud. It does not make a whole lot of mess. A mist of saw dust that can be easily clean up using your vacuum cleaner that you use in your home. There is really nothing that I don’t like about this band saw. I would recommend the tool to everyone if woodworking is a hobby. If you are a woodworker that is your career. I wood buy a floor model.

Product was ready to use out of the box. Have used it to cut out some figures. I think the adding of a light would make saw even better. I have not been able to attach rip fence; mot clamp down into position. Very happy with the saw and hope to have and use it for a long time.

Does the Wen tabletop band saw come with a blade? I have read reviews and the saw discriptions but i don’t see anything about the blade

Did not sit level. Wobbled sitting on the workbench. Bolted it down with a couple shims. Haven’t used it much but seems to be fine.
