The band saw was what I expected, I had not owned a Wen product before, the reviews were good & it did what I expected.I used the wood rods for the wheel assembly to move it around as needed.I build bird houses and mail boxes so this band saw will make the trim pieces much easier.

Base plate was badly warped.

Everything I expected. Take your time setting up the blade and bearings; don’t forget the bottom bearings as well. I haven’t had great success with the fence system, but I think I just have to get to know the machine better and how it likes to be used.

Just as advertised. Great saw.

Assembly was simple and minimal (assemble stand and mount table). Factory blade adjustments were right on. Current project required cutting several large pieces of 3/4″ plywood. Saw performed flawlessly. Plenty of power and accurate cuts. Surprisingly quiet. Very pleased. Only two negative comments, one of the blade-bearing adjustment screws came cross-threaded. Not a problem now but will have to tap in the future.Miter gauge is piece of plastic junk.

Awesome homeowner saw! I use it for all sorts of hard and soft wood projects. The stock blade is slick, although I’ll purchase a narrow blade for tighter radius cuts. Assembly was easy, and worth the price. Very happy, it’s quiet running, easy to clean, and the quality is great.

It performs great for my needs. I put locking wheels on it and it is easy to move around. Easy to put together and operate. The guide fence isn’t accurate at all but everything else lines up pretty good. I just made my own fence.

I followed the directions to assemble the bad saw base. When I laid the saw back onto a 4″ block (as instructed) I heard something slide inside the bandsaw, but I couldn’t recreate the sound.Three of the legs went on fine but one of the corners of the bandsaw base had a weld that was not grinded down and interfered with the leg seating properly. I had to make it work. After completing the assembly which was pretty easy I wanted to be sure the blade was adjusted properly. I saw a lot of online reviews that say there isn’t much adjustment. The blade would not move. I opened the upper panel and the wheel was against the upper guard. I stopped what I was doing and called tech support so I didn’t screw anything up. It was Sunday and they were closed so I left a message for them to call me back the following day. I decided to see if maybe the tracking was off bad so I loosened it and the wheel did pull back from the guard. But then I noticed the wheel was actually coming off the shaft. The clip had come off (that’s the noise I heard earlier). I couldn’t find the clip and had to drive into town to buy a package of clips as well as the tool to put the clip on. Problem fixed and blade adjustments made.I wanted to try the saw so I connected my shop vac with a 2-1/2″ hose to one of the three available dust ports but they don’t have one for that size. My Wen Planer has that size but not the bandsaw.I used it anyway and it cuts great. The thickest cut I made was 4″ and it did great. Now it’s Tuesday and I still haven’t heard from Wen Customer Support. Okay since I fixed the problem myself but I want to let them know and now I have another question.I purchased a 4″ to 2-1/2″ reducer but the 4″ reducer doesn’t fit on the 4″ dust port. What do I need to make this work?I called them again and had a 5-10 minute wait. I let them know that I never received a call back from them and let them know what the problem was. The tech’s silence just gave me the opinion he didn’t care. Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t. Then I explained that I had to purchase a reducer and it doesn’t fit either. I’m just trying to figure out what I need to buy to make this work. His suggestion was duct tape. Thanks! I was able to make something work.Overall I love it. I have other Wen products. I wish they were a little more consistent with the dust ports. I have 4 Wen products now and 6 different size dust ports but only 1 fits my shop vac hose. Maybe I’m wrong but I kind of figured a lot of DIYers would have shop vacs rather than expensive dust collection systems.

Setup and ready to go right out of the box. Didn’t need to align blade. The work light is very bright, almost to bright. Love it.

Went together easily. plugged it in and started it up and did several test cuts. Worked as advertised. it is difficult to move with the stand on so will make a portable stand so that I can move it around more easily. I had hoped that the legs were prepared for roller wheels but sadly they are not.
