For the price and small size it isn’t bad. Takes a while making all the adjustments and setting it up. Tried resawing a 4 in wide piece of bubinga and it wandered a bit. I cant tighten the blade any further because it gets off center of the bottom wheel and you can only adjust the top wheel. Afraid to mess with the bottom wheel Its factory set with some jenky set screws. Still messing with it though I’ve only used it a couple times.

Read all of the reviews on how difficult it is to calibrate the Wen band saw. I had no problem unpacking, assembling (table was a little difficult to get bolts in) and only had to make minor calibration adjustments (i.e., blade tension, table leveling). I will need to buy an adaptor for my dust collector as my hose size doesn’t fit Wen’s three (3) options. I called Wen’s call center to get the actual dust port size options which are not on the instructions. Wen answered immediately and gave me my answers plus some helpful tips. I haven’t changed the blade yet, but instructions seem to be straight forward. Nice sturdy & quiet piece of equipment. Very pleased. I highly recommend.

Very impressive machine for the money. Solid metal parts, some plastic knobs but they work fine, and the stability of the tabletop is impressive. All parts that need fine adjustment have good solid screws or mechanisms for fine adjustment (tabletop leveling, for instance). The adjustable rip guide is excellent also, and once properly aligned, the measurement can be trusted to the point where you won’t need to mark the piece with a pencil mark to be certain of the cut width. Also worth mentioning is that the instruction booklet is really good, covering safety, assembly, alignment, operations, maintenance and lubrication, troubleshooting, and an exploded-view parts diagram naming every single piece as well as providing a phone number and email address should you need help. One thing this comprehensive guide doesn’t mention, though, is that removing the table insert makes it a lot easier to verify and/or adjust the lower guide roller bearings. Overall a really valuable and capable addition to any home shop.

I bought this for a birthday present for someone, but his birthday isn’t for another 2 weeks, so we haven’t even opened the box yet. Too soon to give an evaluation of it because of that.
