Remember when power tools were actually powerful. The WEN 14 in. 2-Speed Band Saw is the perfect companion for any workshop. With a 9.5 Amp motor and a 13-3/8 in. throat, this beast will attack boards up to 8.85 in. D and 13-3/8 in. wide. 2-speed operation allows for speeds of either 1420 FPM or 3280 FPM. The design of this saw uses 100-3/4 in. blades anywhere from 1/8 in. to 1 in. in size for a variety of both intricate and powerful cuts. The spacious work table measures in at 21-1/2 in. x 15-3/4 in. in size and can be swiveled up to 45. This package includes a flexible work light to illuminate the worktable, a 3-in-1 dust port to fit a variety of dust extractor hoses (1-3/4 in., 2-3/4 in., 4 in.), a sawdust collection drawer, a fence for creating perfectly straight cuts and a miter gauge for angled cuts. The onboard circle cutting guide helps create perfect circles and curves up to 32 in. Dia. The upper housing includes a small window to reveal a blade tension gauge. This gauge helps properly identify whether a blade has the correct tension given its particular width. The easy-to-assemble stand elevates the band saw without sacrificing space on the shops work bench. Ball bearings give the blade smooth operation and a long lasting life for years of dependable service. Right out of the box it was obvious that the bandsaw was great quality. Minor assembly was simple and very straight forward. The knob that acts to close the lower door was cracked but still worked. An easy phone call to the very helpful customer service department and the new part was on it’s way. The machine works extremely well and I would tell anyone “money well spent “. Adjusting the saw is simple. The dust collection drawer and vacuum port works great and accumulation is almost nonexistent.

The Product was large to load.. used my pickup Truck, but it was not easy to handle and drag into my Garage, so I stripped the packaging in the back of my truck, then I brought it into my Garage in parts. Assembly took me about 30 minutes (pretty simple). I absolutely love the Saw. I cut a lot of Bowl blanks for turning Bowls from logs and it handles the tough stuff with the stock blade just fine.Not easy to find blades because of the blade length (100 and 3/4 inches), but I have found 2 sources online, and standard blades are not ridiculously priced. I did follow Youtube lessons on tuning the Bandsaw and blade Guides & Tension.. it is a clean, simple, powerful saw. Love it.

Bought this to make a mantel out of an old barn beam. Was able to handle just under 9” and plenary of width. Very easy to assemble and operate. Came with the blade installed. Seems to track well and operated easily. Light is a bit awkward but was able to twist it into a “good enough” position.

Excellent band saw for home shop, the only thing is buying blades you have to order them online can’t get them at Home Depot. Just fine one use the most buy extra at that size I use 3/16 the most. Again every good saw for the price. need to buy it at Home Depot for the Life Time Warranty
