Remember when power tools were actually powerful. The WEN 14 in. 2-Speed Band Saw is the perfect companion for any workshop. With a 9.5 Amp motor and a 13-3/8 in. throat, this beast will attack boards up to 8.85 in. D and 13-3/8 in. wide. 2-speed operation allows for speeds of either 1420 FPM or 3280 FPM. The design of this saw uses 100-3/4 in. blades anywhere from 1/8 in. to 1 in. in size for a variety of both intricate and powerful cuts. The spacious work table measures in at 21-1/2 in. x 15-3/4 in. in size and can be swiveled up to 45. This package includes a flexible work light to illuminate the worktable, a 3-in-1 dust port to fit a variety of dust extractor hoses (1-3/4 in., 2-3/4 in., 4 in.), a sawdust collection drawer, a fence for creating perfectly straight cuts and a miter gauge for angled cuts. The onboard circle cutting guide helps create perfect circles and curves up to 32 in. Dia. The upper housing includes a small window to reveal a blade tension gauge. This gauge helps properly identify whether a blade has the correct tension given its particular width. The easy-to-assemble stand elevates the band saw without sacrificing space on the shops work bench. Ball bearings give the blade smooth operation and a long lasting life for years of dependable service. I assembled the base and attached the saw and checked out everything and it ran perfectly out of the box, no adjustments needed. Unfortunately I don’t have the size blade I need, 1/4″, so I haven’t had a chance to use the saw very much. I will say this. It appears to be well built and has some features I like such as the circle attachment and the LED light. That’s all I can say for now.

So far, this bandsaw has been awesome. I bought it to use for cutting blanks for woodturning, but I find it to be one of my favorite tools in the shop. It is my go to workstation for a lot of my cutting tasks. Assembly was easy and tracking and a adjustment was spot on right out of the box. The only (minor) issue I had was with the shipping experience. The tracking notifications had it go part way, stop a day or two, and then return to origin. In the afternoon of the next day, I was notified that it had arrived (several days early) and I had until the end of the day to pick it up. Had I been out of town (as originally planned), that could have been an issue.

I really enjoy my new Wen 14 inch bandsaw! I also ordered a 1/8th inch bandsaw blade for those small figures and toys with tight curves, that I enjoy making! I would definitely recommend this band saw which has all the bells and whistles that I need and want on a bandsaw! I love the adjustable led light and the straight fence for making wonderful straight cuts!

The saw is Excellent BUT I wish you would carry the blades for the saw I think it is POOR business to sell a product and not carry the consumables. The blade is 100.75″ an Odd size and not easy to get so START CARRYING them on line at least.
