Remember when power tools were actually powerful. The WEN 14 in. 2-Speed Band Saw is the perfect companion for any workshop. With a 9.5 Amp motor and a 13-3/8 in. throat, this beast will attack boards up to 8.85 in. D and 13-3/8 in. wide. 2-speed operation allows for speeds of either 1420 FPM or 3280 FPM. The design of this saw uses 100-3/4 in. blades anywhere from 1/8 in. to 1 in. in size for a variety of both intricate and powerful cuts. The spacious work table measures in at 21-1/2 in. x 15-3/4 in. in size and can be swiveled up to 45. This package includes a flexible work light to illuminate the worktable, a 3-in-1 dust port to fit a variety of dust extractor hoses (1-3/4 in., 2-3/4 in., 4 in.), a sawdust collection drawer, a fence for creating perfectly straight cuts and a miter gauge for angled cuts. The onboard circle cutting guide helps create perfect circles and curves up to 32 in. Dia. The upper housing includes a small window to reveal a blade tension gauge. This gauge helps properly identify whether a blade has the correct tension given its particular width. The easy-to-assemble stand elevates the band saw without sacrificing space on the shops work bench. Ball bearings give the blade smooth operation and a long lasting life for years of dependable service. Received the band saw at my house in a timely manner. Unit was easy to assemble with good instructions. After dealing with another brand this unit has several additional features: a fence, flexible light, circle cutting scribe, and quiet running motor. I haven’t used the unit much but I think the Wen band saw is a good value for the money. It exceeded my expectations.

I’m very satisfied with this bandsaw. Unlike other WEN products I’ve used in the past, this has plenty of power and doesn’t bog down. It has a lot of features, a fantastic cast iron table and everything you expect to find in high dollar bandsaws, except the price.While I liked the fence that came with it, I switched to the Kreg bandsaw fence as I wanted a lot more precision. It took a little engineering to get the side mounted Kreg to mount like the front mounted WEN fence, but it adds a great amount of precision and it was completely worth the effort

Not much experience with band saws. This is my first. I do enjoy it though. Didn’t need adjustment out of the box. Very little assembly required. I’ve only been using it for two weeks and so far I love it!
